2000 5.9 R/T

Thought the pump was bad so i had that replaced. I suppose since I told the shop what to do they decided not to check the rest of the system. turns out the leak is elsewhere, possibly the rack. I have read to nor fix a rack but to replace it. they are under $200 and the shop will let me bring parts.

any idea what this should cost? the replacement of the pump was 150

I replaced mine a couple of weeks ago, got the part at Advance auto for $169 for my 00 Durango 4x4 plus a $65 core charge...... have fun took me and my G/F son 4 hours to get off and 2 to replace.
