Has anyone tried the Android Auto adapter found at carliklife.com? Here is the description "Wireless CarPlay Android Auto Upgrade Module for Dodge 8.4 inch Charger Ram Challenger Journey Durango Car Play Retrofit". $399.99. If so what are your thoughts on it? Are there other options to consider?

I would just get a 2018 on up radio. Easy plug and play option.

Just remember you have to also get the usb module that sits below the radio too so it matches the radio.

You will also need the USB hub and if you want to use the rear HVAC controls, a 2018 control unit in the roof ahead of the rear seats. I did this several years ago, and while fairly expensive, still very pleased with the results. Also using AAWireless TWO adapter, SO much better than that lousy Motorola MA1 POS.
