Adaptor for newer style factory head unit?

I'm getting a newer style RAZ head unit that's satellite capable so I can install the XM Direct receiver, but I read somewhere that the connectors are different. I wish I'd have written down the number of the adaptor they listed as being what I needed, but I did call my Dodge dealer and he found part number 82207541 which is described as a 22 way to 7 way radio harness adaptor. Does this sound right?

I don't want to order something that isn't needed, nor do I want to get a radio that's useless to me without the correct wiring. I certainly don't want to butcher up the original wiring harness either.

Any input is appreciated.

How much did that adapter harness run you at the dealer? Do you lose any controls that way?
It lists for ~$29 but, with my discount, I get it for around 20.
Not sure about if I'll lose any controls?Gosh, I hope not. I love my steering wheel radio controls, and this will be even nicer flipping from one satellite channel to the next. Having to seek up from 80s on 8 to the Opie & Anthony Show (202) would be a chore unless I preset them.
