First I am pissed off that so many more color selections for 2023 compared to 2022. That being said much happier with the option selection available in 2022 compared to 2023. Still pissed off the Leight Weight option was made available for 2023 when I had the folks at SRT customer support tell me the option went away because Grand Cherokee production had ended at JNAP (what that had to do with anything who knows). Finally, you folks who ordered a 23 are blessed, many of us waited 10 months or more to have our 22s built.

Octane Red and Red Oxide are both available colors on the 2023 Durango GT. Red Oxide is very dark. It appears to be black or dark gray in some lighting and deep red in bright sunlight.

It's actually closer to In-Violet from years' past. Looks black most of the time, but in the right light it looks purple. It is the same paint code as Ember on Jeeps and Wagoneers. Red Oxide only started production this month and even now they are trickling off the line similar to Night Moves (a.k.a. Midnight Sky on Jeeps and Wagoneers.)

Anyone know when '23 order banks will close? Charger and Challenger order banks closed yesterday.

Also, if there is going to be a 2024, shouldn't there be some information out about them by now?

The configurator, which is not what I’m asking about, is a completely different story as those never update until after the model years start production. There’s NO information floating around about the ‘24 model year Durangos other than speculation.

For example, there was plenty of reliable reporting (and even Dodge official information out there by the middle of August 2022) on the ‘23 model year vehicles. I’ve had 2 dealerships tell me 2023 is the end of the current gen Durango’s but that there should be another “new” Durango coming.

If the current gen is done after 2023, and there will be a new design in 2024, the new design certainly would have been caught testing by media all cladded up in camouflage months ago.

There are rumors that the next Generation Durango will be share the larger Wagoneer Platform rather than the Grand Cherokee. I suspect gone will be the SRT versions, you will be limited to the 3.0L Turbo engine, maybe the Hemi will live on in the trucks. Lots of speculation but there has been no information released about them

I am not a moderator, but I'd like to see this thread stay focused on 2023 Durango ordering.

There are other threads in this community that have talked about future Durangos:

Of course it's worth it and a lot of them are out there for sale.

What’s the highest you’d go mileage wise im looking at 20k or less only and I’m trying to find something near me New York area/ New Jersey but not too many it seems like or overpriced. We’ll see though I’m trying to get one alongside my tow n go I’m going to have a nice dodge duo one for the fam one for cruising

I would stick with the lowest mileage as well since the longer someone has one the more likely they will flog it, but that's a crap shoot.

It varies quite a bit, and there is no rhyme or reason for why ..... I ordered mine on 5/30, car was built on 7/12, shipped 7/29, I am still waiting for it to make it to the dealership, 10 weeks in and counting, so far. Some people have their cars in hand 4 days after build, mine is working on a month since it's been built and the dealer still hasn't received it yet. Safe to assume 3 to 4 months, but could be as soon as 6-7 weeks.

Can anyone yet confirm when the order cut-off date for JNAP will be? Also, Brampton is going to build their last car on 12/22/23, has anyone heard when the last day for JNAP is going to be? My 2022 was built on 12/26/22 and released for shipment on 12/27/22 making it one of the very last 22 DDSRT's built.
