Id make a bet its chimp, they have built ZERO base SRTs yet nationwide. So they will do a run with ours. His is a RT so, I am saying him for sure..

Are dealers currently taking orders for 2023 Durangos with the new colors (Triple Nickel, Frostbite, Octane Red, etc.)?

Any speculation as to when the order book for 2023 will be closed?

 

I just found out from my sales guy that my RT went into production a few days earlier than scheduled. It's now in paint status. I'm a happy camper

 

yours is likely done. it only takes 2 days to go through the line. the only thing that would hold things up now is things that need to go to the shop for add ons they dont do at the factory like stripes and running boards. if none of those, itll be shipped within a few days for sure

 

Waiting for my r/t plus with tow n go in octane red to be scheduled. My order was confirmed 3/16/23

Ordered mine 3/28 went into production 5/3 almost done I hope I can’t wait. I got all black red interior and no blacktop package I personally like the silver badging also an R/t plus I just hope the speakers are nice

 

If that’s the case hopefully mine will be here mid may because it began production 5/3 and the nearest plant is in Michigan I’m in New York also the dodge tracker says estimated delivery June 15th I hope it’s not that late

 

It probably will be that late, if not later.... Not sure I've heard many instances where delivery was earlier than the Tracker stated.
Last year my original estimated delivery was June 25 and eventually slipped to July 9th and I'm just outside Chicago.

 

Just a long waiting game I hope it comes sooner I didn’t want just a regular R/t this should def be worth the wait

Today's date: 5-9-23. A little worried that it's been over a month, and it's not even scheduled...

 

My order processed March 28 and was scheduled April 17 and didn’t begin production till may 3 so it’s a little different for everyone bro just be patient I was checking everyday multiple times a day and still am😂 it will change soon bro promise

 

My Durango Hellcat came earlier than scheduled.. but not by much. Think order to arrival was about +/- 7 weeks.

 

That's super fast. I ordered my RT Hemi Orange on 4/8, got confirmation of order on 4/10, no updates as of yet, no schedule yet, hoping to get some bit of info soon and need it by end of June.

 

agreed.. and that included quite a distance in shipping.. which was surprisingly quick also!

Just got the confirmation my car is built it started may 3 and ended may 9 so pretty quick now just to ship to dealer and talk numbers before I drive off

 

Just got my window sticker doesn’t say alpine or anything about the audio I thought it would but apparently the rt plus comes with the 9 alpine and sub so I’m hoping it will i can always check because the sub should be in the trunk cargo spot I believe

 

It would come with the Alpine system, the 'step up' would be the Harmon Kardon....
If you haven't already, go get your 'build sheet', it will definitely be on there.
I forget the web site to plug your vin into to grab it, but it's mentioned several times around this forum.

Good news! My RT is built and it has passed the final inspection and it's staged for transport now per my sales guy yesterday. Woohoo

 

I got the build sheet and compared it to the spec sheet. It appears that nothing was removed due to supply chain.

Some interesting items on your window sticker that I see Dodge is now 'bundling' that were all standard on my 2022'?
Apparently you are forced to step up to the 3k "22T" pkg to get them or they are 'listing' them there to make the "22T' pkg sound more important??

Yes, they got rid of add on options in order to streamline ordering.

They are all bundled into either the plus or premium packages now. you can no longer add one off items to builds.

You mean it would be fancy if it wasn't a family car? Mine's fancy and it's a family car.

 

Not necessarily. Just many comments make it seem as though people are buying for the enjoyment of a Durango more than specifically because it fits their family. It can be fancy and family but in my case, it's definitely not fancy but still exciting to have another Durango.

 

You'll wish you had gotten a GT plus with heated seats and the FU-Connect radio so you might want to revisit this. Otherwise you will be back to ask if you can add this or add that to an SXT which will usually be a hard no.
