My Durango Hellcat has a instrument cluster from the factory that has a 140 mph top speed speedometer. i thought the cluster was supposed to have a 200 mph speedometer. The speedometer is displayed in the center and the tachometer is on the left. Does any one else have a cluster like this?

That’s the same cluster that’s in my 14 RT. I would be pissed
I think the analog speedo is a show piece. Looks impressive when someone checks out the dash.
And regardless what our answer is when pulled over, the cops will usually already know the answer to that question...lol

What was the salesman/service departments reaction when you brought it to them? Were they as dumbfounded as those of us on the forum?

They apologized profusely and made it right no questions asked. Absolutely no push back from Dodge or the dealership. I’ll bet there is a Durango out there with my cluster that should have been installed when built. I have no problem with the mistake considering the times we live in today. It’s just another part on the vehicle.

I am so glad you were met with urgency by Dodge and your dealer. That is very refreshing to read since this could have turned into a nightmare with many dealers.

After taking it to the dealer to inspect it Dodge did not want it to leave the dealership until it was repaired and the mileage was the same. The dealership kept the vehicle inside of the dealership in a climate controlled area and out of harms way. I did let them know I was worried about theft if parked outdoors. Again no questions asked they honored my request.
Coming from a R/T owner. If this Meows then your sounds like hmmmm. Idk nothing
That probably wouldn’t work the tachometer is still wrong. And the DDHC has the speedometer where that tac is.
