The other day, my wife went to move my SRT in the driveway and noticed that the radio did not come on. It was dark out, so I really couldnt check much. Yesterday, I went out to take a better look and started the truck and everything was fine. I drove the truck to work this morning, and halfway there, I lost the radio, the center stack climate controls, the front windows, the door locks, and the mirrors. There was also a message about the blind spot system needing service. There could also be other items which I am not realizing yet. I want to do a visual check of some of the wiring before I take it to a dealer as I live next to a corn field and I am wondering if I might have a mouse issue. I tried the link from the McDowell library site for Chiltons manuals to find a wiring diagram but they only have TSB's and Recalls listed. Does anybody else have access to the wiring diagrams? Before I go and buy a Tech Authority 3 day subscription...Thanks in advance.

Rodent damage to wiring can be a huge issue & is more prevalent then you think. Our Infiniti's seem to be a magnet for them. They damaged our G35 numerous times, a Honda Accord and did $7000 damage to my wife's Q50 (leaving her stranded 1/2 way between Mi & Fl) ! After that we enclosed the carport to keep it from happening again, so I now have a screened in room on the side of the house for a car

It's a '21, still have the warranty? If so, let the dealer figure it out.
It still is under warranty, but like I said, I live next to a corn field, and I just wanted to try and visually check things before I took it to the dealer. If I do take it in and it turns out to be damage from rodents, then the warranty wont cover the repair....And tracking down electrical gremlins can be very time consuming...

Insurance should cover the repairs if they discover rodent damage, they did on all ours.

Mine used to randomly shut off and restart. I have a 21 R/T. They mailed me some computer chip, paper said to take it to the dealer to install, I haven’t had an issue since (knock on wood).
Do you happen to know the part number of the chip they sent you?

After 5 months of ownership of my new 2021 DDHC, I had a couple codes appear with the check engine light. I Googled the two codes and the came back as some type of fuel management systems. I made an appointment under warranty and the tech worked on it for over half a day and narrowed it down to a short. After spending a lot of time tracing wires, he finally found the short. Part of the harness was pinched under the left rear seat belt anchor. The tech assured me he repaired it correctly, splicing in new wire, soldering it and using heat shrink tubing as well as taping it when done. Everything works fine now and have not had any electrical issues moving forward.

A couple weeks ago, I noticed a sister vehicle, a Jeep TrackHawk that was being parted out and for sale on eBay. Take a look at the photo of the wiring harness in our vehicles, what a bunch of spaghetti. Perhaps this is something that happened with your vehicle and you have a pinched wire somewhere. Like others have said, hopefully you are under warranty still, and have the dealer figure it out.

You need to tell us what the heck you're driving. Year, model, mileage, etc. You probably need to have your battery load tested. If it doesn't come back at 100% then replace it, especially if it's a few years old. The DD requires pristine power and can trigger odd electrical issues otherwise.

Sorry bout that, I got a 21 SRT durango sitting at 28,950 miles

I guess I should have read your screen name. It's probably still the battery which is at least 3 years old now.
