So apparently Dodge will not warranty my multifunction switch that snapped in half when putting on my blinker... Less than 5k miles on the truck... so looks like I'm gonna have to dish out the $400 for a new one but think I can install it myself, just curious if anyone has tips on getting the steering column plastics of. Also theres a little red "button" with a K on it thing under the column near the steering wheel adjustment lever, any idea what this is?? (Picture included)

I had my blinker on already to turn left, didn't realize it and went to hit it again as I was turning and it just snapped in half.

Dodge is giving me the run around that its not covered which I think is BS. I'd understand if I somehow got it caught on something and broke it on accident, but normal usage shouldn't of snapped it like it did...

Either which way, I need to fix it so just gonna do it myself.

I know this is old but Dodge now wants $1800 to put a new combination switch in. When I turn the left signal on, the light just stays lit and the lights don't blink.

I searched and see no aftermarket switch available except for 2015. I can't even find a used switch! The 2015 handle is identical to the 2016 but Standard ignition says they are different. Anyone know how different?

Can the existing switch be repaired?
