Does it have the ability to scroll through contacts on the screen rather than on your phone?
You should just order your Durango and be done with it. If later on you want to get the NAV radio with HD and Voice activation you can always get a radio off of EBay for $649 and put it in your Durango, then sell yours for a little less. There might need to be a vin change at the dealer for say a .5 hour labor charge. That's it. No need to fret over this.

Yea I'm pretty sure I don't need it. I went into the dealership at 2pm and the guy I was working with had left for the day ( I didn't make an appt and i typically like to come in unannounced ). I told a different salesmen I'd be back in the morning. Its been really weird the last couple of days. I've had probably 3 calls from different dealers and a lot of email's. They must want my business before the end of the month...

I'm sure they do, this is one of the slowest months in car sales. So they just want to move inventory and get sales on the books

You can always try, but don't wait past tomorrow. If they give you the lower price great but don't expect it.
Just got off the phone with the guy I've been working with and I said I would like to make an appointment for tomorrow to come in and order the D. He says " yea I can't really make an appointment with you tomorrow because it's saturday and we have alot of lot traffic" At this point I'm thinking to myself "Are you kidding me? I'm going to order a car from you and you're saying you can't sit down with me at a specific time". He wanted to do the whole deal over the phone. I'm just baffled that this guy wouldn't say something like I'd be glad to sit down with you at so and so time. He appears more concerned about anyone else who comes in tomorrow.

Well, according to all other information he is loosing money on the deal and he is not technically selling a car tomorrow. His first priority is for the guy that's going to drive the vehicle off of the lot not order one. I mean I know it's $40,000 to you but to him it's a vehicle that's going to be sold in 3 months so it can wait a day or so. He needs to get the vehicles off his lot first.

Is that usually how it works when you order a car? The dealership will lose money? Are people that are willing to buy a car off the lot not getting as good of a deal? I don't know much about this stuff. I just figured when I told him I want to make an order he would show some customer assistance and say he would be willing to sit down and do the deal.

I am sure he is, just it's the last Saturday of the month and a slow month at that so he is going to be trying to move cars that are actually on his lot rather than order one. What dealer is this by the way?

Junge in Center Point, Iowa. There is also a dealer in Cedar Rapids that wants my business but they basically run a monopoly on this town so I'd rather go somewhere else.

McGrath dodge has a white 2015 RT with blacktop, which in my opinion white with the blacktop is the best looking blacktop edition, it has an MSRP of 47,765. I bet you could get that one for 41k today or tomorrow if you bought it.

When you see it up close and personal you will fall in Love with WHite

Bought it!!

I currently have 2 - 2014 Durango's in my garage...Double D's!

The new 2014 Hemi V-8 (personal vehicle) is awesome. I took it on a 30 mile round trip to set up an appt. for tint next Friday. Love it :) I'm also getting an "eyebrow" installed...tint on the top of the windshield...about 4 inches.

My LE Durango has a 6" eyebrow to hide the light on the passenger side of the top of the windshield. It shines through the 35% tint easily and is hidden otherwise (pic in my original post).

I'm going with 35% tint on the side windows and the eyebrow on the windshield. Should be sharp!

I'm going to install my Valentine One next weekend and get it hard wired. I never really needed it with the Ford Edge...but like it on long trips. I really think I'm going to need it with the new Hemi!

Going with a K&N filter first...few other mods to follow...slowly! I bought a 5yr/100,000mile warranty for about $1500 on the loan.

I've always love modifying vehicles...but this one I may leave near stock....just because I have started taking long trips 2x per year and don't want to screw with the warranty.

Who knows...soon enough maybe :)

I'll get some pics posted over the weekend. My LE Durango..work vehicle...is dirty as all heck and needs a wash. I'll take some together shots.

I'm driving from MN to Key West in early March....can't wait! Going to be an awesome 4500 mile round trip to Florida!
