2014 B pillar trim fell off

So around 20k miles I noticed both rear b pillars were loose near the top of the car. I told the dealership and I think they just fixed it using double sided tape. Well last Saturday we came to Florida for vacation and I noticed it was separating again earlier in the week when we got here. We are on our way back today and my daughter asked what was outside her window and before I could pull over the driver side blew off on the interstate. I called Dodge 800 number but since I just ticked over 36k miles while driving back from Florida it's not covered. WTF type of brand new car only 2 years old has body parts flying off!?! Anyone else have this issue? Monday I am taking it to the dealership to raise hell and hopefully they cover it.

One of mine is doing the same thing as in the 2nd picture. I am going to take it to the dealer to get it fixed under warranty when I get a chance. I have a 15 with a little over 17,000 on it

yes, this happens on every single 1 of them. JGC too. I spent a few hours on a dealer lot, checked out probably 50 or 100 Durango and JGC. All of them had the trim seperating at the top like that, what a piss poor design. I had mine replaced on my 2015 DD RT, it looks pretty much same as before they replaced it, total waste of time. On my 2016 JGC Overland, same exact deal. Someone should make aftermarket versions of these that dont completely suck.

On the contrary if you had it at dealer for this less than 12000 miles ago they have to warranty this period!

Just recently had all of mine replaced after noticing it happening to 2 of them. Also had the little triangle trim pieces on the back doors replaced and the cowl that was warped. This on a 2015 that I got new in May. Under warranty, and apart from doing it at a service center that took about a month to get it done, it came out good. I dont think these parts are that expensive either if youre not under warranty, if you have to replace yourself. I think they are 3M'd on to the D.

I've got the same question as @Banan_75 . How does one remove the appliqués?
