We have it but it’s permanently off (it will still alert and go crazy, just won’t slam on the brakes). Completely intrusive system that panic brakes when it doesn’t need to (cars turning off in front of you too slowly will cause the thing to lose its mind). It might work for a completely inept driver but the current iterations are not great and brake far too early.
Not sure I can turn it off in my 2014 but it's not too intrusive. I'd gladly have it again as it's part of the adaptive cruise control and I will never buy a new vehicle without that feature. On long highway drives towing it takes one aspect of focus out of the equation which in turn let's me drive further before getting tired.

Purchased my 2021 T&G in February. Was 1 of 2 on Long Island at the time. Black wasn’t my first choice, but I’m glad it had the black Brembo instead of red, but that package was a no brainer for what it added, even though I have no intention of trailering anything. I wish the rims were more black than charcoal. Dealer wanted $20K over sticker, but got them down to $5K since I knew the accountant for the dealer. Traded a 2018 Chrysler 300 Limited. Financed the whole thing 0% 72 months got an 8 year extended Mopar warranty.

I know most members are V8 or SRT...and I don't blame one person for making that decision. I had a 2018 Charger Scat Pack that I regret letting go of every day! However, when I picked up my 2021 DD, I was looking at an RT TNG...but I just couldn't justify the $18k in additional cost for (basically) 75HP and more towing capacity considering I don't tow anything that heavy with the DD (have a RAM 2500). The other consideration was at the time (Oct 2021) gas prices were out of control and I now do a fair bit of highway mileage. The DD is a great SUV no matter which trim you pick (this is my 2nd one). If you have a particular set up that is exactly what you want...the choices are to grind it out to find the best deal you can or wait to see if prices come down...or maybe find a good pre-owned to save some cash. I do agree though...that it's not cool to pay over MSRP on a vehicle. They know that figure is high when they set it. Just 2 pennies from the peanut gallery. Lol.
Great discussion!

I use adaptive cruise every day and love it so I agree with you on that aspect. I can just live without the collision system slamming on the brakes. 😂. One cool thing adaptive cruise does that I didn’t know about is it will come to a complete stop in traffic and resume again on its own (provided the stop is short enough). I’ve tested it a few times and it’s hard to trust the system but it worked perfectly each time.

I have a Loaded 2018 R/T that I am generally happy and starting to think about a replacement for. When it comes to another Durango, I put the Tow and Go as a must have option to stay in a Durango. My god though, I priced one yesterday and the R/T Plus with T&G gets up towards $70k MSRP faster than a non-SRT has any business getting to. I get it, supply chain, low inventory, but this thing is basically unchanged in many, many years. I see some dealers have a bunch of different rebates but I would be interested to hear what T&G are actually transacting at right now. Thanks. Also considering a bunch of others that aren't always a direct competitor such as Grand Cherokee L, Explorer ST, and Outer Banks Bronco.

Ordered my loaded 2021 RT T&G July of 21. Got it at Christmas. Sticker was 63k.

With current rebates of about $4000, your talking about $59-60k for an AWD. A lot of dealers have an extra 1K off they might call an online rebate or similar. If you want blacktop package or captain's chairs expect about another $1500 and $1700.

I have nothing to do with this dealership other than I test drove this Durango yesterday. It's an R/T, but does not have TnG. Yesterday, they were taking about $7k off of MSRP. Today, they are advertising over $10k off MSRP. I think they've had it a while and they want to move it off of their lot. It looks nice in Octane Red.

Of the two Durango R/Ts at this dealership, the base price before options is $555 different. So, there's been a price increase during the model year.

6 grand off msrp on my ordered Durango from mark dodge in Louisiana.
Beware that it might change when it hits the dealer. Many won't honor what they tell you when you order if things change by the time it arrives.

That would be some sleazy crap but seems par for the course with Mother Mopar dealerships.

Yeah, it already happened to at least one person on the forum.

I could see if the MSRP changed then the buyer could absorb that but 9k off MSRP and then renege? That is a bait and switch and should have been brought to the state's AG office.

Mark dodge offers price protection, the time of signing the order locks in the price.

Does that include rebates?
No. Any rebates or affiliates available at time of delivery will be mine as well.

Same as when I got my '22 here... but when the D arrived I had the choice of whatever rebates/incentives were better at the time of order or time of delivery.
