Some more weight reduction. Little over 80 more pounds lost. Front sway bar was 31lbs. Polycarbonate side and possibly rear windows later this year. Windshield will have to wait till the roll bar install. Think anyone has ever tinted polycarbonate windows lol. I want it sleeperish.

Removing the front sway bar is an old racers trick. How is she transferring weight when you launch?
Yeah I be watching the RAM guys lol. Weight transfer was great. Just a little too much on the stock Mopars shocks I installed to replace the LL ones. Bought some Blisten 5100s to try out. They're stiffer so hopefully they'll help keep her from bottoming out. Wasn't too bad though. The sway bar removal is purely for weight reduction.

Keep up the great work. I am new here but not to fast cars.

From what I have seen you got the fasted DD in street trim. What’s your ultimate goal? 9’s?

Thanks. About to finish the 3.70 rear diff install today and get a final weigh in.

My goal for now is 11s n/a with the stock bottom 5.7. Did it per Dragy but ran out of track days here in Vegas. So I'm heading to Sacramento Raceway on Friday for one last try before summer. Then I'm looking for 10s n/a with a 392 stroker build and bigger Jay Greene cam, and more weight reduction to offset the rollbar install.

Then I'm goin turbo boost on top of it and looking for 9s at least.

Ok you have a good game plan and reasonable goal. A lot of people don’t plan properly and start breaking things..

11’s with good weather and hard launch should be easily accomplished with your set up.

I would love to hear how those 3:70 gears work…

I’m getting so sick of the sheep in wolf’s clothing (the rental V6 Charger w/ hemi package), I miss Gomez my Durango! Once I get it back the suitcase muffler is coming out. Because I’m now 100% disabled and can no longer work, being just a stay at home dad is driving me crazy (er) since i sometimes have nothing to do from 9 to 3. So my Durango is gonna be a huge part of the social media thing I’m gonna start. Probably even some of the merch I plan on selling might include Durango stuff. The V8 is on life support so I’ll take advantage of that…

New race weight 4400lbs with me and my helmet in it.

Installed the SRT 3.70 differential this weekend. Definitely a noticeable difference in pull over the 3.45. I've had the 3.45 a long time so I'm very used to it and this converter and 91 tune. DA was around 3500 and almost broke traction on the street at barely half throttle from a dead stop, granted I'm damn near fully track prepped. Weighs 16 lbs more than the 3.45 diff.

3.70 on the left. 3.45 on the right.

Congratulations.

That 3:70 pumpkin looks bigger than the 3:45. Axle got changed too? Did you have to do any tuning for the Speedo or shift point adjustment?

Yeah it's a little bigger. It has the LSD internals too. No idea what they look like. Axles have to be SRT as well. Had to refurbish those cause two of the boots had holes in them. Messy fucking job there.

Oh and nothing needs to be changed with the tune. Just like when I went from the 3.09 to the 3.45. Just have to reset the tune and let the pcm/tcm learn it. Anything that's already tuned with the transmission shouldn't be affected.
