can you please do a before and after sound?Tomorrow I remove the TNG exhaust and replace with Corsa system…😎
Maybe you’re waiting on that premium interior (suede headliner & etc). Yours is fully loaded will all options, correct?Just checked a minute ago and am still stuck in "D". I just don't get it at this point. I got my email over three weeks ago now stating my DD would be built in the next few weeks. I guess the parts needed to build my SRT are still on backorder. The killer is I cannot lock in my rate until the dealer has a scheduled delivery date to the dealer.
So... I'm still giggling like a small child just driving around with the exhaust in my new TnG, obviously such a difference from my 2013 DD.Tomorrow I remove the TNG exhaust and replace with Corsa system…😎
I have guys that right with me that love to hear the TNG exhaust. one of them usually says 'Merica when I dip into the throttle to pass cars in traffic.So... I'm still giggling like a small child just driving around with the exhaust in my new TnG, obviously such a difference from my 2013 DD.
What is the expectations from the Corsa, louder, deeper, performance breathing?
Agree!I have guys that right with me that love to hear the TNG exhaust. one of them usually says 'Merica when I dip into the throttle to pass cars in traffic.
to each his own but I can not personally image dropping the money to change the TNG exhaust out for aftermarket. how much better could the sound really be? that juice is not worth the squeeze in my book.
The Corsa has a different tone……even though the “high performance” TnG SRT exhaust sounds awesome - look at the restriction on the suitcase muffler on the passenger side……there is no reason I can figure why this is there - nothing is in the way of the pipes!So... I watched a few videos and seems like my 2014 Hemi Challenger with BORLA Exhaust is just tinny bit louder than the TNG.
And be aware that Corsa/Brola is 2.5" exhaust but TNG is 2.75". I get the fact that Corsa/Borla will sounds better than OE but I guess I will not spend the money to do that.
But that is just me, especially I will be carrying family and towing TT so loud exhaust actually does not help.
So I emailed dealership and added the TNG group the week after I put deposit on the R/T+ and called it off a day

So you don’t know why so your opinion is moot …That's been brought up before. All DDs have that pinch which likely gives clearance for something during the vehicle build.
Yes Borla offers 2.75" for SRT and HC (IMO it should be at least 3") but only 2.5" for application with 5.7 Hemi for R/T owners. And R/T with TNG comes with 2.75" stock, but I am not sure if TNG will take the one that Borla built for SRT.If you go to Borla's site they do offer a system for the 392 which is 2.75". I have the ATAK on my 2014 Challenger along with headers and Hi-Flo Cats and while it is a blast to drive around town it is taxing on long road trips to big National Car shows. We currently have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with active exhaust and I am really interested in how differently the DD SRT is going to sound in comparison. Having had my 2014 Challenger on the Dyno countless times I can tell you that exhaust changes only by themselves get you zero HP gains.
When you look up Corsa's application for your TNG. Do you go with R/T or SRT application? The Corsa has a different tone……even though the “high performance” TnG SRT exhaust sounds awesome - look at the restriction on the suitcase muffler on the passenger side……there is no reason I can figure why this is there - nothing is in the way of the pipes!
Good Point but the answer would be what size are the Cats on the 5.7? I would think it uses the same Cats as the 392 as the exhaust system is the same for the TNT and the SRT.Yes Borla offers 2.75" for SRT and HC (IMO it should be at least 3") but only 2.5" for application with 5.7 Hemi for R/T owners. Please make a post of before&after. Really hoping to see the difference. They are the same …..
So if that is true then there would be no issues using the BORLA SRT 392 system on the RT TNG. You just need to decide if you want all the extra sound level from the ATAK system? They are the same …..
