SiriusXM actually called me back to let me know that Stellantis has informed them that there is a current issue with the connected vehicle app that makes it so it will only work intermittently and that they hope to have the problem resolved in a few months.

Having said that, when asked how the system is supposed to work - if functioning correctly, I was told that it only updates while you're driving the vehicle and it takes about 10 minutes of driving for the system to send the information and update the app.

Of course, this is absurd. The FordPass app updates with the vehicle turned off and sends real-time data with the vehicle off and at a distance. There seems little point to me to have an app that provides information that is only accurate while you are in the vehicle with the vehicle running.

Why would I want to use an app to tell me information I can get from the vehicle's infosystem?

Agreed, I’ve always felt it was useless.

i found mine. After the dealer said they performed the update it shows this:
FCA-MY21.R17.89-PROD

I know my system was updated because the screen and font changed. So why would it say 17.89?
That is the ONLY firmware update that can be done manually at this time. In a week or so your radio will get the .99 update from the cellular connection your Durango has. (no subscription needed)
The latest update is .99 for MY 2021

I am a freaking expert :ROFLMAO::eek: in finding bugs with with the poorly programmed UC5 system in our Durangos. So any questions, just post up and I will chime in. ;)

Oh yea? Here's one for you:
How do I get my radio to stop forgetting my Sirius/XM favorites?
To program a favorite, you first add it to a preset. Then press and hold that preset for 2 seconds and a message pops up saying it has been added to Sirius/XM favorites. A star next to the station name/ID confirms this.
As a "favorite" you are now able to rewind up to an hour of music every time you select that preset/favorite.
Well my radio loses the favorites every so often. No rhyme or reason to it. Nothing specific I can figure out as to why it loses them. This has never happened on any of my previous Durangos. However, my 2018 SRT didn't require the presets to be saved again. Once a station was added to a preset it automatically was available to rewind. Not so with this system.
If it isn't a favorite when you select the preset you can only rewind to that point, the moment you selected it. It will not record the previous music.
It's an awesome feature that lets me listen to a station until they play a song I don't like. I then tune to another station and rewind it and listen to any songs I may have missed while listening to the other station. Only solution I have is to check each time I get in and if it has lost the favorites, re-add them.
Let me know what you got...

I have .99 and I have not lost a station favorite. I also don't have the UC5 connected to my Sirius Account for favorite integration.
I am annoyed at where you need to search where station favorites are to delete them or view them to see what you have but beyond that it seems to be working with .99
But then again, maybe a favorite did delete itself and I just did not realize the little heart is gone. I will keep an eye on it.

Is there any way to push the latest update through? I did a hard reset recently and the version seems to have gone back To the original 17.98 (I have a 2022 Durango r/t). Now I keep getting the dreaded service uconnect box pop up.

The updates do not go backwards so you apparently never finished updating with the new one.
