Well I guess it’s a right of passage for a Durango owner, but someone was able to unlock my truck and attempted to steal it today in my office parking garage.

Pulled off the access panel on the driver’s side… assuming to try to get into the dash wiring?

Made off with some sunglasses and charger from my console. Anyways… pretty f in pissed right now.

Holy shit I’m sorry that happened! Glad they weren’t able to make off with your truck though. These scumbags are getting more brazen by the day.

There was no sign of forced entry, so I’m guessing they were able to use a transmitter to unlock it…

We’ll see if she’s still there when I leave today. They already did half the work yesterday.
No chance you left the vehicle unlocked?
If they used a transmitter to unlock it, wouldn't they be able to start it with the same transmitter?

Not necessarily. They still have to plug into the OBD port to clone a key, which based on his pictures, they were in the process of doing when they bailed.

Dang that's straight horrible. Sorry this happened to you and on your new SRT.

Haven’t posted in awhile, but my DDSRT was stolen from my office parking garage this evening… Add another one to the ever growing list.

Probably one of the most fun vehicles I’ve ever owned, but definitely can’t justify getting another one while commuting and parking in a city environment.

Sorry fellow owners for driving up your insurance renewals!

Had mine stolen the morning after Father's day. It was recovered that Friday about 3 miles from my house.

I have had it back since Aug 26. Along with tearing up the GPS and a few modules under the mirror, they chewed the paint off the front fascia.

Then to kick it back, it was attempted to be stolen again from the dealership.

But I have it still and even collected a speeding ticket with it this past Saturday.

That sucks. Sorry to hear and hope they can recover it quickly with minimal damage
