I'm still sitting at D Status. I ordered from a dealer in November who said they had an allocation, but found out weeks later they didn't. Luckily, they received an allocation the first of January and I subsequently got a vin. I'm a little more patient now just knowing I'm getting one, particularly since FCA is not taking any more orders.

Can't find anywhere that says Dodge has started production building the Durango Hellcat. No one on any forum seems to be beyond D1. I'll start to get excited again once I see vehicles in E, F, or G.

Do cow farmers have to buy credits...........discuss....................... 😁
I think it depends on the breed of cow and what they use it for.
For example, Ol'McDonald may have a herd of angus he is raising for beef. But another farmer may have a herd of jersey (which, btw, is not actually from New Jersey) he is raising for dairy. Each year the requirement for greenhouse gas emissions from cows is based on the previous years consumption of beef/dairy products, divided by head of cattle (1 per angus, 2 per jersey) giving you a PPC (points per cattle) rating which cannot surpass the FDAs threshold, which differs largely from the EPAs. That number was lowered during Trump's presidency (apparently he was a steak lover) which means it will most likely be raised (no pun intended) during Biden's tenure, because that's what presidents do.
If McDonald, or any farmer for that matter, requires a credit purchase, he has to buy from a sheep or goat farmer. Based on the current economy, however, it's probably likely some farmers will have to do away with their herds completely due to the inability to purchase the required credits.
But that's just my opinion...

Not sure if dealers have access to Stellantis Bluezone, but they could run a forecast report on ESD codes (6.2L SC engine) for JNAP, and it would show what build ramp is for coming dates. This would give the group a good idea to production expectations down to the day/shift. VINs can be ran too for specific gating and status. They may have limited access to Dealerconnect only, so might not be possible. Not willing to use my access for either, sorry. My 21 WD SRT is in my garage already lol.

I believe that the shipping dates that we have are going to be delayed.Mine was 1/22 and has not happened as of now.
Mine was originally estimated to be 1-26-21 (yesterday), but I got an e-mail from SRT Customer Service on Tuesday of last week, telling me that my NEW estimated ship date would be on 2-9-21 . . . I haven't received any updates since then . . .

So I spoke to someone on another forum that has an inside source that has been reliable to date.

I am being told that DH production, as well as some Challenger hellcats and some Jeeps, is paused until the week of Feb 14 due to chip shortages.

Take it for what it's worth, but like I said this source has been solid so far ... I'm hoping this time he/she is mistaken.

When referencing the platform, the statement meant class vs powertrain emissions/epa rating. As stated, they advance each year. So if the DDHC as-is tips the scales too far in MY22 across the fleet, it would require it to be dropped. You could bring engineering in to play and argue ETQ could be added to the 6.2 and other measures to lower the penalty, but not reality at this time. I was not giving an outside opinion or theory, Was trying to shed light on the topic. Everything is a debate these days I guess lol. I'm sure you will give a creative spin on these words, but that is all I would like to share on the topic. Cheers.
..sigh.

And my question is what exactly, engineering wise, is different in the DDHC evap system than in say the Trackhawk that they will continue to make.

Your original statement didn't mention any mechanical differences and implied only that the DDHC was just one hellcat they had to cut in order to get under fleet emission restrictions and that is an argument that I don't buy at all.

If you now want to say that the DDHC emits more emissions than the others, great. Let's now get into the discussion of why and if that emissions system difference leads to any differences in performance.
