There won't be any updates for another few weeks. Builds weren't scheduled to be started until January, but that could change due to supply issues or COVID issues at the plant. Right now, from everything I am hearing, they are on schedule to start next month.

Good for you.But I'm concerned about the lack of quality control issues on the folks getting the RT's and SRT's already..so I'm in no rush..My 18 SRT had 6 issues that were slowly corrected over the first year.

That's generally not a terrible idea, but this vehicle is only being built for one model year, meaning that whatever issue the first ones have is likely to be there for the whole year. Unless it's an easy fix recall like a bolt missing, manufacturers aren't really nimble in sorting out issues at the manufacturing end at the snap of a finger, some don't even bother fixing the issue till the next generation is released.

Anyway, I'll worry about crossing that bridge if and when I get to it, hopefully whatever issues they have are minor. Most of the truck is existing tech and by now Dodge has figured out the hellcat engine ... my biggest concern is with the new uconnect system. Mostly I'm just excited about it.

The issues were simple structural. The front eye for brake assist was crooked.the bumper cover under headlight was popped out, The headliner sagged because no-one thought enough to snap it in at the attachment points, one exhaust tip was crooked, the plastic dash vent kept popping up....just weak inspection stuff..

I am D1 as well with a ship date of 1/19. I can only assume mine and soulsea's will be on the same railcar headed down to the Carolinas soon.

Not too much new for 21. New dash, center console, 10" display, UConnect5, forged carbon fiber bits, bumper and headlights. Everything else JNAP has been putting on/in Jeep Trackhawks for a few years now. I had an early production 2018 Durango SRT built October 5, 2017. The only issue I had was at delivery the rear hatch close button was not connected to the harness. It's been issue free since then. This Durango has been pretty much unchanged since 2011 and they built a bunch of 2021 Durangos before they started on the R/Ts and SRTs so that should give you some added confidence.

I'm so unsure if you're being sarcastic or not. They've changed just about everything they can change without doing a complete overhaul. So it's the same structurally, but everything else was updated in 21. Just about the only thing they didn't change tech or comfort or accessorywise was the camera (which they should have upgraded).
