Picked up my Red T&G tonight here in MIA. She's gorgeous! I know, I know ..... Pics coming, it's too dark outside. Any who, a few observations: Pretty much the whole dealership kept making me start her up all evening.... that exhaust note rumble is an attention grabber! I'm gonna have a lot of fun scaring the b'jesus out of kids and folks standing next to her when I start her up from yards away! Paid for the Premium leather seats. Fronts seats are great, but not as great as the leather seats I had in my '15 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I'm a bit more disappointed in the rear seats though, they feel and look for sure thinner than my former rear leather seats. I'm 5'11 and it felt like a bit of a squeeze 2nd row. Don't know how I thought those seats slide back and forth a bit after watching and reading a ton of early reviews on this. Well, she's mine now, so I'll live with it. Also, I choose the Red breaks. Thought they would say "Brembo" on them since this is not a SRT. I'll be upgrading the wheels & tires to 22's and adding my own sub soon.
What color did you get? Do you have captains chairs or bench? Are you comparing the second row to a previous 3rd gen durango you had?

He said "Red" and he posted he had a 2015 Jeep Cherokee...which has sliding 2nd row seats.
That is the one downside to the current Durango platform compared to competition...though I'm not sure how important a feature that is as 2nd row leg room seems fine even for tall adults.

hey there, I'm in MIA too. congrats. we surely want pictures! would also love some pics of the exhaust if you can that would be great... trying to figure out how to get my rt without T&G to sound like that lol...

not sure I even though it would be faster, if anything it's got 4" more of rolling resistance so that surely won't help it be quicker I wouldn't think? but, I do love the sound and the look of the wider stance so to me the t&g is worth it just for that. rims and tires OEM and a correct Mopar exhaust if you bought afterwards, is close to $5K anyhow without the hassle of installing and plus the other items it brings.

The Tow N Go exhaust isn't a "Mopar" catback, it's just a less restrictive exhaust that they worked their magic on to sound good. The Mopar Edition Durango SRT included a Mopar catback but it was dealer installed.

Has anyone seen the red interior on a 21 R/T yet?

WOW... those are both sick! One of my 2 RT's is white with the red interior but I'm fighting with my son over who gets that one lol... my other is Destroyer grey with black...

Well it has a different suspension setup than a R/T or Citadel 5.7L...same as the SRT so it was not the lack of power or the gears that was limiting the tow rating on the 5.7L.
Looking at my numbers again, I do see that 870 lb TW is possible...but not with the family on board. Rear occupants would push the weight over GAWR

Being a 3 row family vehicle, that sucks the only way to hit max towing is with just 1-2 people in the vehicle.

And I'm guessing you're a flat-earther as well. 😂
Simple math actually. Here is my last weigh in with a 6,700 lbs travel trailer

5,400 lbs = Durango empty weight (full gas tank)

1,400 lbs of payload (780 = tongue weight, 470 = family of four, 100 lbs = WDH, 50 lbs = misc toys, books, etc). = 6,800 lb gross vehicle weight (under the 7,100 GVWR)

I’m at 3,920 lbs on the rear axle, which is 20 lbs over the 3,900 lbs GAWR.

Also worth noting SRT does have a slightly higher rear GAWR (3,940 lbs) than the normal 3,900 lbs

I’m curious to see if T&G also gets the upgraded axle capacity or not

Pretty sure the T&G has A 1590LB payload capacity.

It also looks like you need to adjust ur WDH as its not performing as well as it should. Also your a little heavy on ur tongue. Maybe adjust ur load in ur trailer.
