Ended up purchasing a stock '15 R/T exhaust to go on my 6 week old V6 limited. Of course, I purchased a new dual cut out valance for the tips. Aside from that, from what I've gathered, the only other parts I would need to go with for this set up would be extra hangers and isolators. If that IS the case, how many of these do I need/how would I go about ordering them? I assume from the dealer but would a muffler/exhaust shop possibly have these?

My second, and likely more important question is this: Would you recommend deleting the suitcase resonator on this R/T exhaust for my V6? I'm definitely a fan of a strong exhaust rumble but also fear the dreaded 'drone' possibility. Does anyone have an opinion on this or have experience with removing your resonator?

Thanks so much for the help and input fellas! Wouldn't have even made it this far on my mods without it..

Also, I was quoted "roughly" $200 for this job. I feel this sounds reasonable but haven't a clue.

You don't need to purchase any hangers. The exhaust shop will have them and weld them on, this is probably built into that $200 quote. On a v6 I don't think I would delete the suitcase. Usually v6's don't sound good with dual exhaust but conveniently the R/T exhaust sounds good on the v6. That being said if you start removing things it might not sound very good anymore. If you delete the suitcase I have a feeling the v6 would be too high pitched and would end up sounding ricey.

My 11 crew v6 with the RT exhaust still has the suitcase, and it sounds beefy at idle and lower RPMs. Once it gets above 4-5k, it gets a little "rattle-y" (hard to explain the sound, there is a clip on the thread above).

I wouldn't want to remove the muffler (suitcase) or resonators (rear cans) for fear of making it sound to "import"

Drone is only with the V8's that go into 4 cyl mode.
Shouldn't be any issue with the V6's.
Are you referring to just the Durango or vehicles in general? You can have drone on any car or truck with any size engine once you install an aftermarket exhaust

The rattle is something the v8 get as well. Its something inside the oem exhaust

interesting. Haven't hear it on a v8, but never really hear them launch. All the clip on you-tube are all idle/rev in park.
Since I added the lmi intake I can say the oem exhaust is louder, the hemi fart as they call it is very notice I when shifting at wot
