I am looking at a 2017 GT, which in the carfax report, it shows the steering column replaced. My mind goes to "it was stolen" but that's just how I think. Why would it have been replaced?
Stolen is about the only reason I can think of.I am looking at a 2017 GT, which in the carfax report, it shows the steering column replaced. My mind goes to "it was stolen" but that's just how I think. Why would it have been replaced?
Dang, I didn't even think about that. Thank you. There is no wheel lock or ignition switch so not sure why it would have to be replaced if stolen. Could have been a bad steering column module and not the entire steering column as it contains the clockspring and other switches.
Stupid people who try to steal cars don't know that though. There is no wheel lock or ignition switch so not sure why it would have to be replaced if stolen. Could have been a bad steering column module and not the entire steering column as it contains the clockspring and other switches.
