Brought the DDRT to my buddy's shop and had the mid muffler deleted. Like the sound thus far. Is a little tinny not under load. I'd say for the $150 i gave him it was worth it. Cold start up is WAY better, and under moderate load its a great sound. Under full throttle its OK. Its no custom exhaust, but its worth it for the money for sure.

I bought one of their standard replacement hard drives for the RER in my 2008. It was rebooting every 5 minutes. Easy Peasy install took 15 minutes including pulling the radio and dash bezel surround.

Picked up a used unlocked DiabloSport InTune I1000 DCX off Ebay cheap. Got it in a few days ago and updated it via a PC. Just started playing with it today. Installed the Gas Mileage tune. We'll see if it does anything. After that, I'll try some of the performance stuff. We'll see.

Bought my new mopar SRT hood for my 2014 Dodge Durango Rt. No other place cheaper than this guy down in Hialeah, Fl. I drove down and back a total of 5 hours because it was cheap enough for the fun ride. When I went to pick it up, it was in a huge OEM mopar box but had to leave the box because it was too big to fit in the back of the DD. All 3 bezels and screws were included with the purchase. Paid less than $800 total and it's all brand new from the mopar warehouse! Came home today with it and dropped it off at my buddy's shop for a custom carbon fiber wrap. Which will also be wrapping my mirror cover carbon fiber also and front lower bumper lip. Getting the shop to install double wheel ring leds along with my new powder coated wheels. More pics to come soon as its complete. The mopar guy is on Instagram @gotztohavdemnikes

Been thinking about this mod. Quick question, does anything under the hood have to be protected now that water has access to electrical parts? I remember reading how Dodge has covers under the vents. Keep us posted.

Well, I talked to someone else who has done it and it's not much of an issue since my engine has the hemi motor cover but I plan on leaving it without the under hood protection. Mine is getting wrapped in carbon fiber with some carbon fiber wrapping on the mirror covers and door handles and side pillars and front bottom bumper lip center. Cant wait to see it all done soon.

I took my 2014 DDRT to the shop today because I was hearing a winding noise from 3rd to 4th and so on. Turns out the pump inside the tranny is shot so since it's a sealed transmission, it will have to be replaced with a new one. Thank goodness I got a platinum extended warranty thru my credit union when I bought it a few years ago! I am covered and dont have to pay anything. On the other hand, its gonna cost the warranty company $5000 or more. I'll have a brand new transmission with 2 year warranty from Dodge! They asked me if I wanna trade it for the new DDSRT lol. I wish! Too much money new!
