I could have swore the dealer told me i have rain sensing wipers. They dont turn on automatically and i am not seeing an option in the menu of the 8.4 screen. Anyone know how to def tell if you have it? 2014 Dodge Durango Limited
I was told that as well, but I'm 99% sure it's not even an option on my trim level.I could have swore the dealer told me i have rain sensing wipers. The control is on the turn signal arm as well. The long white tapered scale is for the sensing wipers. You can turn it off and control the sensitivity/interval it wipes.I could have swore the dealer told me i have rain sensing wipers. I have a '14 Limited and don't have them. Checking my spreadsheet from when I was looking, it appears "Rain Sensitive Windshield Wipers" are standard on the Citadel, and part of the Safety / Security and Convenience Group otherwise.I could have swore the dealer told me i have rain sensing wipers. All that does on mine is control the interval time. I don't have anything on the EVIC to activate them either. The control is on the turn signal arm as well. The long white tapered scale is for the sensing wipers. You can turn it off and control the sensitivity/interval it wipes.
It is on the 8.4 screen in one of the settings and your wipers have to stay on, on the turn signal for them to work automatically.I could have swore the dealer told me i have rain sensing wipers. On the 14s, adjusting the wiper delay level from 1 to 4 increases the auto-rain sensitivity.Once you click the wiper mist control at its lowest setting, the rain sensor is on....it will automatically make the wipers swipe fast or slowly based on how much rain is hitting the windshield. If you increase the dial, then you are just adjusting the manual mist setting, it doesn't affect the auto-rain sensor.
