Dodge dealers DO NOT follow the 125 point inspection for pre-owned vehicles. if they did, the vehicles would be perfect when sold.
You get 3 months 3k miles max care warranty then until 100k power train. At 40k change your brakes anyway but beat on your dealer and ask how could this be, pulsating brakes.

But the question is, did they pulsate when you bought it, if not then I think you are not going to get anywhere. Sorry
I can tell they don’t do an inspection, shit they don’t even do a detail. I argued with them that there are crumbs in the seats, there is no way this car was detailed. They kept telling me it was. They finally gave me a “we owe” full detail. I dropped it off and got a service loaner. They didn’t get to it first night, but called me the next day and said it was done. I looked at that shit and said this literally looks like it was wiped down real quick and only on the console area. This is not a full detail. It was that obvious they barely did a half ass job.
I also had a “we owe” as part of the deal for a scratch on the mirror. It was supposed to be buffed out, and and painted if couldn’t be buffed. They literally just put a line of touch up paint. I told them I could have done that - and better.

It did pulsate intermittently on the way home. It is still at the shop, I will see what they say. Also dealer it is at is diff than purchasing/detail/mirror dealership.

And ask them to provide you the following report especially #79 and #80 !!!

They will say they don’t have an inspection form, or it will just filled in with BS.

If that vehicle was sold as certified pre-owned, they better have this form, and it better be filled out properly, with all 125 standards checked, and it had better include authorized signatures from the dealership. Note that it says failure to retain this form along with repair orders in the vehicle history file will VOID the certification.

I know someone who bought a CPO Subaru from a Subaru/Dodge dealer and 6 months later something was wrong and the dealer said it is out of warranty. The person called Subaru and they had nothing on her vehicle being a CPO so she was shit out of luck and the dealer royally screwed her. The only savings grace was her showing consumer affairs the CPO designation on the invoice.
The dealer responded that it was a typo, can you believe that crap? Well Consumer affairs did not buy it and she got the repair done free of charge.

That sucks.

I at least know it is listed with Dodge because I see it as a CPO with my VIN in the my Mopar app. I don’t think I ever got a CPO checklist in my paperwork. I will ask my service advisor for it when I pick it up.

Bad news, the heated steering wheel hit 120 degrees on me this am so the new module does not regulate it any better then the old module. Oh well but at least I have medium heated seats now. YES!!
It’s wild that it gets that hot. Can’t believe the dealership isn’t on top of that given the damage that could potentially occur to your skin and/or accidents it could cause (burning your hand while driving down the highway at speed for example).

I do 16k per year this wiil help me keep it to 10K a year , bet the 2001 jeep XJ will be on the road longer than the Durango

Yeah if the wheel is going to be hot either way, then I rather have the medium setting too.

Lmfao. The steering wheel doesn't get hot enough to cause injury. C'mon people, it's the best heated steering wheel in the world. I love it.
Mine gets so hot that if I can find a way to get my crotch on it, I will sue Dodge for crotch burns like the McDonalds lady. LOL

If you decide to try, get a video of it. You could win $10,000 on AFV!

Not surprised they couldnt figure it considering you explained yourself 100% My local dealer the service dept is the worst. They document everything you say and they still ignore you.
I have the opposite issue..my dealership is great but dodge has been awful other than giving me vague statements and hints that they might fix my issues someday.

Surprise, surprise... they said, seat "seat heat is working to within 1 degree of factory spec". I went in and lit the service writer a new one. He agreed to take a ride with me and try the middle setting for himself. To his amazement, the seats didn't make any heat !!! Just like I told them when I dropped it off. D module ordered, should be in stock 3-5 days. Still no luck finding a problem with the rear left suspension clunk/thump noise. But it's definitely documented under warranty now.
This is what they noted for replacement module for my medium heat setting. Just got it back. They did it automatically.
