I saw this idea brought up in another post yesterday and while I was out driving around, I pulled up behind a Gen2. I could be wrong, but their rear windshield looks a lot smaller than the Gen1. I'd assume that the wiper is shorter as well. I'm not sure if it'd fit as a plug and play sort of thing, but it looks like you'd at least be getting less of an area wiped off.
