Anyone put one of these in?

 

Put a few in my 2001 with no trouble. I also got them from RockAuto. Just remove the door panel screws, unhook the handle and locking rods from their clips, and you'll see the motor and track bolts (three and four respectively.) You'll also need to unplug some wiring harnesses for the mirrors and door locks. Just loosen and replace the assemblies.

I also have to replace mine, I've been slacking lately. I checked local stores like Autozone and they wanted $96 for it. I have to do mine in couple weeks before our baby gets here. How much was shipping for you? If you find somewhere cheaper, please let me know.

 

I mustn't use my windows that much as I've never had a window issue (knock on wood.)

My last order to Rock Auto was for Part # 741649 (Driver's Door Window Regulator) for my 2001 D. This was back in January of this year and the price was $63.79 with ground shipping of $7.62. At that price you could replace the regulator three or four times for the price the dealer charges for one. Also, Rock Auto will honor Dorman's Lifetime Warranty for this part.

Amazon sells that Dorman 741-649 as well. I paid $55 (free shipping) and it's even lower now?$48.27!

That's a very common part on eBay for the D. You'll find them there at $45 or $60 with free shipping.
