I have a 2002 Dodge Durango SLT which will soon undergo a 2in t/s lift. I would really love a front hitch as to attach a recovery hook too or a recovery d ring too. But i would also like to have a westin light bar. From my understanding both connect to the same points on the bumper. My question is, will one interfere with the other, or is it possible to run them both? Any input would be appreciated, and if anyone has pictures of their 1st gen D with a front hitch and/or a westin light bar, that would be much appreciated to see.
The problem with a front hitch on the D stock bumper is it makes a really great plow. It is always catching on stuff. I have friends that went that way and they now wish they hadn't. You really need a custom bumper for this, and they are available. Much better solution.
Well MWeed and FSTDANGO3 thanks for the quick replies, and even though thats not what i'd like to hear i want to keep my ground clearance. Looks like ill pass up the front hitch
