Yeah I was considering it. Still concerned about shit getting down into the motor. And honestly I dont really wanna put that much into the vehicle. as I said. it needs to run for another year or so and then its getting shit canned. But my buddy bought the one from Amazon and said it works just fine. Likely made by the same company in China.
Yeah go with a 60 dollar one but do not use their sensors (you can try) as the tend to fail quickly. But for your purpose it could work. Plus it is a selling point if you sell it privately. Good luck man!

Yeah I was thinking about this. But yeah Im not dumping a bunch of money in this vehicle. Ive got 12 payments left and when its paid off its gone. With 171k miles on it, it will be sent to whole sale and probably end up in Mexico or somewhere. LOL.

Yeah I could just buy new sensors from Autozone. And put them in the new housing. My trans in newer and has an additional cooler. So If I decide to get a new Amazon oil cooler does it change the filter cartridge? I see some have a note showing a new filter type.

So I got everything back together. and still getting a p0304 Cylinder 4 mis. But im also getting a p0172 and p0175 lean and rich codes with the new injectors. I know it can take several minutes of idling to get the trims to adjust back but I ran it for 20 minutes and still having the same issues. I checked the coil its firing. Im sort of at a loss as to what it could be.

So it looks like the Durango is going to Dodge. Cylinder 4 is still Misfiring and the codes for P0172 and p0175 are still present even after completely resetting the ECM with battery disconnection. I really hope it isnt the dreaded head issue because im not putting $3000 worth of work into a vehicle worth $3000. Ill just drive it with the mis fire. Oddly enough im not longer getting the P0420 catalyst inefficiency. Its time to let the mechanics figure this bullshit out.

Finally found a shop thats willing to take the vehicle in to diagnose the durango that does have a 4 week wait time. I have also changed the MAP sensor as well. This is the same shop who replaced my transmission like 2 years ago. He did mention he has saw issue with the coil plugs going bad. So we will see what he has to say.

Vehicle just went through a full trouble shoot of the engine. All injectors were firing, coils were perfect, compression is within 5psi of each other and well within normal ranges. He thinks I have a stuck valve or the dreaded rocker issue. I will contacting Dodge monday to see if this repair was done already. As the mechanic told me if they did the repair already and its failed again I have a good case to have them redo the repair. We will see tomorrow.

Nothing new. But the engine is developing more issues. Dodge had it for 2 weeks and the same results. In their diagnostic everything is working fine. They did state that the TSB for thr Drivers side head was never done but now the vehicle has too many miles on it and it would be on me for the full cost. Dodge gave me an estimate of $3800 for the new updated head, labor and consumables.

Update is now I have a hesitation on accelaration, stalling when coming to a stop and even not wanting to start until I give it some gas.

Wow, I’m sorry to hear that.

I’m going to swap #2 coil and plug to #5 and see if the miss follows. Hopefully it does. As for the rich condition, I’m going to take a look at my rocker arms for any play. I’m not sure if the TSB was ever done for mine.

Yeah im just gonna trade it in. And likely never buy another dodge product. Too many issues with Jeep/Dodge. Granted I have 173k on this car. Ive had Chevies and Nissans go over 250k no issues.
