I think I've decided to part with my 2000 R/T.
www.cardomain.com/ride/2575944
22's included. 91,000 miles.

I was wondering what you guys think I could get for it.

(I just came across a screaming deal on an older Land Cruiser and can't pass it up)

DDM:

Nice looking ride. I have had my D on Autotrader.com now for almost a month, and 0 calls or emails.

With some folks it's an issue of economy, and with others (like me), I just want to drive something different.

DDM:

Starting price is $8.5k. Some negotiation is expected, and it comes with a pretty decent warranty till Jan of 2009 or 100k.
Folks often comment that it looks new, and add that they wish they had the time to keep their ride that nice.

Check out Autotrader.com ad #52488964 and see what you think??

Leaving the 22s on is really going to narrow down your potential buying audience I'd think. Another thing to check, look on eBay and see what something similar has sold for lately, also look on the big auto sales websites to see what others are asking.

Where are you guys getting these high prices from? $9,000 is outrageous but over $11,000 midnite? CRAZY. I checked a few different sources and they all list it for between $6,000-$7,000. It'd be nice to think that our D's are worth more, but they're not anymore.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Phiber! In todays market these D's are fetching very low Bucks.
an Old Land Cruiser won't save you any money on gas for sure

How come they're going for so much? If I could get half that for my Durango I'd drive it up there myself and sell it.

Guys;

While I'd agree that exceeding KBB figures by much if at all would be a far reach, I have seen instances where a vehicle brings more than the going market rate when it has been extremely well cared for.

Another thought to ponder is that you have to start somewhere, and you can always come down, and it's almost impossible to go up.

I assume your in Prince George BC- 18k would be the asking lot price depending on shape/condition, but to sell privately or to even trade it in you'd get nowhere close to that price,I think I got offered 8k as a trade in for my '02 R/T here in Edmonton,if I could get 18k for mine, even 16k I'd be driving up there to sell and visit family in Vanderhoof at the same time,

I only have a 2 mile commute. So, the gas mileage isn't my main concern.
(Prices suck but what are you gonna do, blow up gas stations?)
Plus, the cruiser only has 85k miles. It ought to get at least 300k miles over its life.

I'm kinda getting tired of not being able to go wheelin' due to my choice in wheel/tire combination. :(
It'd be nice to not have to worry about breaking stuff every time I go to Moab with my Jeep either.
(I might have to sell the Jeep too)
