Thanks to Steve, I'm rocking these bad boys now. The biggest problem I had with my stock rims is that the tires were tucked in the wells. I want em sticking out, so these did the trick

Took me longer to change the oil than to install my R/T exhaust. The bolt was an absolute nightmare. But got the fumoto valve installed as well as the R/T exhaust. Sounds awesome also painted the tips black which is a nice touch. Unfortunately the valance isn't here yet so I'll look a little funny for the next couple days. Oh well

How are the fumoto valve? Very tempted but scared to hit something and have it dump all the oil out.

The Beast got new tires installed on her today! Went with the OEM Goodyears, they're actually fairly capable and they made me change my mind on Goodyears after a relatively crappy experience with them on a previous car. Old ones were worn down to 4/32" and didn't want to stop in snow or not hydroplane in the rain on the highway.

For an extra $2 I got a clip that snaps on so that doesn't happen, basically it covers the switch from moving which was worth the peace of mind. But even without it you do have to pull the switch out and down so I guess that's their built in safety mechanism. Right now they're offering 10% off, less than $30 for everything I would definitely snatch one up. Once you try to change the oil and see how much of a pain in the rear the bolt is to get off you will be thankful you did

Yesterday, I changed the oil in the other cars: a Camry and a Ranger. The plug on the Camry was too damned tight to budge with just my ratchet, so I unscrewed the pipe handle from my floor jack and used it as a cheater bar. Came right off! The Ranger went much more smoothly with my new cheater bar, too. With that little square hole we have on the D's, a cheater bar would not have helped unless maybe it was up on a lift.

I added Fumotoes to my Amazon wish list for the next time oil changes come around for the Camry, Ranger, and Mustang. I will always get the ones with the N suffix on the part number for the nipple. I don't have the $2 peace-of-mind clip, but I did put on a 3/8" ID nipple cover. It went on so snug, if the spring did somehow accidentally release, I think the nipple cover might hold.... I hope. :)

Lol I think it would be highly unlikely that the switch would release, none the less for $2 I figured why not. But getting the bolt off was unreal. I got the one with the nipple too and kept my oil jugs so now I can just run the tube to the jugs fill them up the dump new oil in and repeat. Should make life much easier going forward

Looks pretty cool on there
