No more dark interior. Replaced the lights from the front to the tailgate, much brighter with LEDs. Only problem is the lenses on the tailgate won’t pop back on without counter pressure from the back. The light fixture is not fastened to the panel, it’s secured by snapping the lens and sandwiching the panel in between.

Nice work but the pedals are easy...did you warm up the brake pedal? I had no issues when I let it sit in hot water for 5 min.

The brake pedal is pretty rigid so it’s tough to get on unless you warm it up. The gas pedal just snaps on.

I did some debadging. Removed the Durango lettering and moved the awd emblem up.

Taillight tint next week.

Changed the engine oil at 1108 miles over the weekend.

I filtered the oil to find some residue and i am not sure about the allowable foreign particle limit in it. But looking at the residue, i was happy that i changed the oil after break-in which i have always done on all of my new cars.

I haven't bought a battery for a vehicle in over 5 years and was shocked at pricing. Ended up costing me around $115 with a 25% discount WTF! A couple of years ago the same battery would've probably been around $70. It's not an AGM battery which was closer to $200.

Anyway the DuRonbo Durango starts easily and runs smoothly now!

How did you wrap the trim? And did you pull off the grill or do it in place?

I was thinking of dipping a all of that. Vinyl wrap may be a better choice though.

She needed a bath first! Not sure I'm in love with the matte black. Maybe gloss would look better? Need to go back and get the third brake light tinted in the next week when I can get out to my client. And hopefully this week I'll be able to throw her on a lift and get the caliper covers on. I've had them sitting in the back of the D for a week now.

From the pictures it looks good with the matte black, it just blends in with your paint. Maybe it looks different in person. I'm thinking it would stick out a little more if it was gloss. Anyways, I like it!
