DodgeDurango.net is a friendly community dedicated to the Dodge Durango.

Our goal is to be the place to go to when you have Dodge Durango questions, problems or would just like to discuss it in general.

To keep the place friendly, we ask that every new member post up an introduction thread letting us know a little bit about themselves, their current (and future) cars, trucks or any type of vehicle.

Please help us keep this site friendly and informative! Thanks in advance. :)

That is just a generic warning light. If it were flashing then it would mean that you have a serious emissions or engine issue that needed immediate attention. If it's simply on then you need to have the codes read that are stored in the computer. Nothing other than that can lead you toward the problem. If you go to a car parts store they will only read the top level codes so you need to have it read by someone that has a good quality code reader or to your trusted mechanic who can drill down to the more important sub-codes.

LOL, Thanks.

Fell in love with the Dodge product after my first purchase, 2013 Grand Caravan. Was blown away at the amount of goodies for the price. Which lead to the first Durango and then 16 Ram 1500 Sport.
So Essentially, ended up having 3 Town & Countries, 2 Pacificas, 5 Durangos, 2 Ram 1500's and a Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude.

Our '05 Caravan has an amazing number of features that took us quite a while to find.

Hi, my name's Ken, just joined. I found the site when (successfully) looking for help with a couple of issues with my 2023 Durango SRT. I also have a 2012 5.7L Durango with 170K on it. Lots of stories around that one, including having my Mopar Vehicle Protection lifetime warranty cancelled illegitimately. But no other mid-size SUV can tow like the Durango, so I'm back for more with the '23.

Hello all,
Aaron from Wisconsin here, have had one each of Durango generations, ‘00, ‘09, and most recent is a ‘21 RT with Tow N Go. Bought used, it had stock dampening SRT suspension, and 305/40R22 tires, so decided to add a lift kit for a little more wheel well room. Have always enjoyed mopar and the info that is available for them here!

Hi all, my name is Deanna and I have a 2020 Dodge Durango SRT. I’m looking for a little help if someone can provide it!

Recently someone attempted to steal my car, boo :( it’s been to the body shop and is all fixed up but I had an after market security system installed for extra precaution (Viper system). They cut my horn wires during the attempt and they have since been spliced together by the body shop but the shop is saying that they cannot connect the horn back to itself because of the security system installed? So I asked the company who installed it and they said that they use their own siren and module and do nothing with the car’s original horn wiring. I’m going to attach a picture here that I was able to take of the wires and it looks as if they essentially just need to be plugged back in to the horn itself? Please let me know, anything is helpful!

Thank you!

Thank you Tin Foil Hat for the advice! Hopefully I can reattach it and get it working! Let me post some pictures here of my ride to keep the thread going, and I’ll be sure to add some more info in my signature, thanks again!

I would say the alarm has nothing to do with your horn so you can reattach it.

How do all. Picked up a '23 Blacktop R/T...after having a '12 Challenger R/T, a '19 1320, a '13 Ram a '16 Ram a '19 Ram and now a '22 Power Wagon 2500 w/ 6.4 and a bunch of other MoPars. Got a question, are the door skins aluminum on the Blacktop, or just sound cheap? Thanks!

Oh boy. I can just imagine the questions we are going to get now about how to put your broken car back together.
