Water Leak.....from cracked radiator!

My 2013 R/T has been great. Other than a TSB update flash to cure the occasional "fishbite", it's been perfect. However, for the last 4 days I noticed a coolant smell, but no puddles on the garage floor. Then by the fifth day I noticed a couple of small spots of coolant on the floor. Popped the hood and saw the leak residue on the driver's side front near the lower hose. Turns out that the hose had a pin hole and the radiator had a crack in it that the dealer discovered after putting 26 pounds of pressure in the system. He said this was a fluke as most leaks have been bad thermostat housings or bad clamp/hose issues. DD has 19,000 miles. All is well. Chrysler rented me a car and R/T comes out of the shop today after spending the night. Parts came in promptly. Good job Dodge! Be glad to get out of this '14 200!!

Glad it was solved! Hate for it being a neighbor putting the proverbial sugar in the fuel tank!

They found the leak fast. Best part was I picked up the DD tonight and oil change, tire rotation and both repairs were free! A shout out to Columbia TN Chrysler,Dodge, Jeep for amazing service!

Good to hear
Any reasons they gave for it cracking?

Steve, no reason for the crack--just a "fluke" as they said. Car has never overheated. I was kind of stunned at the service as everything they did was $0.00. tgbraley-I used to go to the dealership in Franklin as I live in Spring Hill, but the guys in Columbia are really good. It's about equal distance for me to either one.
