Does anyone know of a part number for the rubber piece that goes around the volume/tune knobs on the Uconnect 8.4 system? I've got a 2014 Durango Limited and the rubber piece is tacky and gross. Looks like someone before me has cleaned it too much with improper cleaning solutions.

Or, does this require a whole front fascia replacement?

Once the rubber gets that way there is nothing to fix it, nor can just the rubber be replaced. You should be able to order new knobs, dealer would have to look up the part #'s.

You could also try something like this (I'm sure they make them for the Durango):

My 14 DD volume knob was SHAVED or grinder off by a previous owner. Not a big deal as the knob works but it's just an ugly sight. If there's no direct knob replacement I guess I will try that tacky wrap on thingie...

The only way I've found is to replace the Uconnect fascia in the front. Mine was quoted for $800 from the stealership.

I may give this a go. They may be tacky, but would be better than what I have. Thank you.

I know this is old, but can you tell me what tacky wrap on thing you were talking about? I'm getting desperate. It's a huge eye sore.
