Hey all. I figured i'd start a journal showing you my 2011 Durango Citadel awd Hemi. I just bought the car 3 months ago with 54,000 miles. It now had 56,000. mileage will be low since we do not use it everyday. We bought it as a family vehicle with 2 kids. we like the style and 3 row seating. Its pretty much loaded with nav, dvd player, backup sensors, blind spot detection...The list goes on. My wife loves the car and i love it for its towing capabilities. You're probably wondering what I tow... well, i have a 16ft Brimar flatbed trailer to tow this to racetracks.

Anyways, back to the Durango, My first upgrade was to add a oil catch can. I came across an ebay member with zero feedback, but had the billet can for sale with a buy it now price of $80. I took the risk and it came 3 days later. Here are pics of it installed.
Kit

Before shot

Hooking the hoses and just trying to make it look stock like it came from the factory

Finished product

Overall, very straight forward install. This was much easier than trying to put the engine cover back on...

Next up is the Gibson exhaust. Bought from another member here. It came with an xpipe. But im not sure if i will have that installed so it may be for sale soon.

Stay tuned for more updates...

I'm a pretty handy guy... But it makes me sad that there's no way I could ever accomplish many of the things I see here that I wish I could do to my D. You guys are super talented and should be really proud of your abilities and accomplishments.

But this Wanna-be D enthusiast is insanely jealous of you all.

I could probably handle a CAI and catch can.. But anything that requires a lift I'm pretty SOL on...lol.. And anything that requires welding for that matter too

Thanks. Yeah, can't wait to hear it.

I was planning on installing the exhaust myself since I do have a welder, but with a 2 year old and 7 month old, I rarely have time to myself to tackle this exhaust on. There is an exhaust shop 5 min from my house who does really good work.

Looks great man good luck on Gibson install, nice bmr too btw
Thanks, and thanks again for the sale!

I would install the X-pipe, if you're on the fence. it's really supposed to mellow out the exhaust. Not quiet it, but smooth it out for a more pleasant sound. It's been noted to decrease droning as well.

Oh....and can we see some pics of the Beauty?

So I got just the XPIPE installed. What a difference in sound it makes. Nothing too loud, but the rumble is there. I kept the stock "mufflers" in place. Now I'm looking to add 4 inch tips, but the OEM tips are offset, so I need to find something to fill the gap.

Also, Gibson mufflers are for sale soon. Look for it in the for sale section soon.

Maintenance update....
Replaced sparkplugs with oem mopar plugs and changed front and rear diff fluid with Amsoil 75w90. I was going to do the transfer case but ran out of time.
FYI. The rear diff bolts ar 14mm hex and the front are 8mm hex.

I2 tuner installed today. I had to call diablosport tech to get a file loaded on the tool. Don't assume everything works straight out the box. Make sure you update the tuner first before connecting to your vehicle. So far, the truck has more pep in its step. I removed mds and used the 87 tune. Also a tip, use the advanced tune option. It gives you more features to select from compared to the easy tune.

Debadged whole car and installed Bwoody performance swaybar front and rear endlinks. Worth every penny!! I highly recommend this if you want to reduce body roll.
