I looked in the owners manual for the 2017 dodge Durango RT and THERE IS NO OPTION THAT SHOULD LIST A KEYBOARD FOR THIS MODEL OF VEHICLE. In the manual, it goes down the list of items in display mode and says display mode and then you can do display brightness with headlights on or off set theme set language, and then mine says keyboard which it doesn’t have that in the manual and then it goes touchscreen beep control screen time out and then it’s got some NAV stuff phone pop up in the cluster and that’s it so it appears that the same person who’s been pulling all these shenanigans went a little bit out of their depth on this one. I even googled it to see if there was any potential upgrade of firmware or what not and found ZERO MENTION of there being a keyboard option for my vehicle using the Uconnect 8.4 version. More evidence to pile up for the worthless police who refused to even investigate because I know who’s doing it and like they won’t even investigate it have very interesting theories, such as “ everybody knows that iPhones can’t get hacked“, or “are you high on drugs or taking any mental health medications”? I’ve called the police twice to have them come out and even my IT person from my business manages my home enterprise network and the tool that we use has identified 10 enterprise networks that each have four personal Wi-Fi networks per enterprise network for a grand total of 50 Wi-Fi networks that are running out of this person‘s condominium, which is about 600 or 700 ft.². They never go outside. No one‘s ever seen them. I’ve seen like three people go in and out and they’re usually carrying bags of groceries and they come like once or twice a week so it’s like I know who’s doing it and they know that I know that they’re doing it and even when the police came out, they wouldn’t even look at the evidence on my phone that my IT guy sent me showing the 50 networks and they list in proximity to my access point. There’s more but I’m not gonna drone on and on about it. I think having this will help. I live in a very nice neighborhood in Orange County, California and the people who live next-door to me or the ones that are doing it that are renters I even had one of my neighbors downstairs told me that his router magically stopped working even though it was working just fine in the morning and then like when you got home at night like he couldn’t access his router anymore so he had to get a new router, even though the tech person said that his router was working perfectly fine. I guess his password had been changed too bad he moved out the day before I called the cops the second time. That was not a fun experience, but whatever. I think I’m just gonna gather all the evidence that I have such as cell phone bills for like the last year and a half, router reports showing like 365 outbound connections for my router at my business in one day that was sending some data to not our IP addresses nor like Microsoft or anyone like that that you would have standard data sharing with even though we disabled all that kind of stuff I had like nine instances of the support assistant agent running at one time and they were all sending data from my server to random IP addresses that we’re not our IP addressesand my IT guy I think just doesn’t want to get involved because he’s thinks that I’m gonna sue him or something. This whole thing a fucking joke so I think I’m just gonna take everything that I have cause I got a shit load of evidence and just walk in and talk to the watch commander and or the cyber security unit that they allegedly have but yet they never let me talk to anybody there. I’ve been dealing with this shit for like a year that I am aware of and I’m shirt began before that. if anybody else finds anything contradictory to what I found with respect to my Uconnect 8.4 for a 2017 Dodge Durango having the ability to have a remote keyboard access please let me know with documentation that supports it, preferably from the manufacturer who I am also going to be paying a visit to tomorrow.
