If you aren't having any issues with your radio then don't do any updates at all.

So I have FCA-MY21.R17.99-PROD in my 2022 RT TnG..... what would happen if I updated flashed to a different version? Of course dodge tells me I am up to date

Is there something wrong with your system? If not, don't jump on the band wagon of upgrading. But if you want to, upgrading will work. You may lose your helmets in HVAC controls. LOL

As said by others.. if you’re not fighting major issues just hold or ask the dealer about updates. You can load the other versions but just be aware that Uconnect knows when you do (they brought it up when I was on the phone last time and asked a lot of questions about where I got it 😂)

I just told them matter of factly that since they are not making any effort whatsoever to fix things I loaded the file and they can go pound sand.

Lots of bug fixes but if you are not having issues then leave it as is. If you have issues with it, list them so we can see if a new version will help.

No helmets and the only issue I have is Uconnect box service error. Unclear if that is related to the head unit.

Uconnect box error is separate. That error required replacing the antennae wire and module to fix it on mine.

Last night my UC5 popped a message that an update was available. I'm currently working with the canbus though, and capturing messages from the IHS bus .... so I chose to defer the update for now. The message didn't give me a version for the update.

I'm currently on the T27.46 RAM version, so I wonder if the update message I received is actually for an updated RAM firmware and not a Durango one though?

Has anyone else received a pop-up recently, stating an update is available?

There is a Telematics Box (Uconnect box) update coming OTA. it upgrades the firmware of the UC box not the Radio.
That may have been it as it is suppose to start around 3/15

That makes sense, and you're probably correct. It was late last night when it popped up and it definitely could have said Telematics uConnect, as I quickly read it and hit defer.

Yes it is only for 23/24MYs as Dodge gave us 21 and 22 owners the finger.

Sadly I own a 2021 and our last update was November 2021. 😭

I thought I would start this to track latest known versions of Uconnect 5 for each model year.

2021	FCA-MY21.R17.99-PROD
2022	FCA-MY22.S23.13-PROD?
2023	FCA-MY23.T25.48-PROD
2024	FCA-MY24.U27.14-PROD?

I’ll try to keep this updated as I find more information. Please feel free to post up any information you have in case I have something wrong. The list above will be official releases since it’s possible to run other versions on older model years but it’s not supported and may cause issues with your dealer/Uconnect support.

Edit: As noted by stoopalini it's possible that versions are brand/model specific. I have adjusted the known entries above to verified versions. 2022 and 2024 are still unknowns and I will leave a question mark behind them until I can verify the versions.

I just bought a 23 DDHC and at first I thought I was going crazy..trying to learn it all and it seemed to randomly change settings on its own. Also I only have 3 background options when it seems everyone else has 12. Mine are simple designs and I was hoping to get the hellcat background..anyone else have this issue?

Do you know what version you are on? Usually after an update some settings and items are missing up but it seems to download them after the fact. I wonder if you just need a reset or maybe an update.

You will not get another version because Dodge forgets about anything but the current MY and even at that it is iffy.
The wifi connection is total bullsh*t and does nothing but allows Dodge onto your local network which is scary.

That is version you have is REALLY GOOD so LOVE IT!. LOL

No need to upgrade in my opinion unless you like to be on the edge, like most of us on the forum

Yep I got busted by Uconnect as well but nothing came about it. I still got Dodge to me the latest MY23 version for my 21
