I was reading on the Ram forum that the maps went back to a 12/21 version. Did you notice that also?

 

Mine were never updated to being with. I got the latest through stellanis. 9/22. I'm going to try it out today.

 

If this update works cross models, why can't they just send us the OTA update for the durangos from the Rams or any other? So ridiculous.

 

Downloaded update 26.17 from hdrams. It works for the Durango. Took about an hour but I went from 17.98 to 26.17. Fixed the issue of the wifi not connecting and the audio seems louder. Updated icons for some apps I noticed as well. So far no issues. View attachment 126440

Uconnect 12.0 Update

Had a typo in my post, it's 26.17 not 26.15. I have seen on a few other forums a couple people have Android or Apple connection issues after the update. Very inconsistent. Maybe something to do with the phone not Uconnect. Also a couple reports of restarting but not everyone. So random.

Are you able to get the weather on the weather app? I have a 2022 RT and have never been able to get the weather. We have version 17.98

 

My weather app always worked. Continues to work with the update.

It appears different than it was before but the pages are there (after the last updates this was missing for a long time until it restored later on so I’ll wait and see what happens long term)

edit: everything is SRT branded, I have a feeling they are using the same update package for everything.

 

looks like it’s back to normal now.

Profile switching is much quicker, just around 15 seconded instead of nearly a minute before.

valet mode was around 30 seconds to activate (instead of actual minutes)

exiting valet mode was very quick (10 seconds) and actually worked!!!

 

this is EXTREMELY interesting. I'm down loading the file now. any one have a problem with this new version? is it really just this easy? 🤣

 

No problems so far…. I also followed the Pacifica groups link to update the Nav maps. Appears to be working right now.

This took a long time to download and 4 of the files are ~4.2GB in size. Just saved them to empty thumb drive, put it in and when opened Nav it prompted to update. 🍻

Another thing this has fixed for me is the vehicle health report in the Dodge app. Last update was November now I just got a new report April 23.

 

yeah mine has been broken since December. It works every 5 or 6 months then stops. LOL

Did some brief testing this morning... my CarPlay is no longer dropping out at the normal areas. I had 2 spots in town where wireless CarPlay would black screen and stop working every single time for several blocks at a time. Issue appears to be gone this morning. SRT pages loaded nearly instantly immediately after first start this morning (normally SRT pages won't load for me for minutes on first start). Could all be due to the initial update clearing cache or something in the OS so I will have to hold off on declaring it 'fixed' for a few days here. Otherwise CarPlay connected to my phone in 15 seconds (usually requires a reboot of the radio at first start) and I had nothing remarkable happen today.

Edit: Valet mode worked this morning in about 30 seconds again. Will see if it exits as expected when I go to leave here.

Too early to tell for sure but I didn’t see it today at all. (Only spent about 20 minutes in it though).

 

This is so F'n messed up it is beyond incredible. Also how are you supposed to know about the Stellantis map update page? They are supposed to update automatically.

This shit for 2.5 years along with my Cisco troubles and their god damn website are pushing me over the edge. LOL

Valet worked flawless again, less than 30 seconds and SRT pages were available 10-15 seconds after exiting. This is miles better than the R17.99 software

 

Do we know how this update came about as far as getting it from somewhere? Was this listed in dealer connect?

 

The guys on the Ram forum mentioned there is a TSB on how to get the image on a thumb drive so I imagine they had it pushed out to them similar to how we received the R17.89 release. I will have to investigate a little to see if I can figure out where exactly.

For those that have been having any sort of ongoing UConnect 5 issues, there is a new OTA software update (S26.17) to replace S24.13/S24.18 software versions, launching on 11/25/22 that will probably address many issues that we have been having. It is for Pacifica models and other models built prior to November 1, 2022. I do have the TSB, but I do not have permission from FCA US to share it. Hope this helps!

Oddly enough I have a 22 and my radio said MY21 17.98 before I updated. Now says MY22 26.17.

 

Oh wow! So the 2022 had 2021 software before? No wonder the 2022 software loaded without blowing anything up.

 

So is it confirmed that version 26.17 will work correctly on a 2021 Durango SRT?

 

I have it working on a 2021 Hellcat, I can’t think of a reason why it wouldn’t work.
