Tune it all you want but without some peripheral pieces you'll probably only enable a crisper acceleration from a stop. Most who tune them have added larger exhaust, a 392 intake with short runners enabled, etc.

Contact Hemifever you can get your PCM unlocked and Sean will write you a custom tune and send your PCM back to you. Then you can get ongoing support from Hemifever if you decide to start modding your engine for more power. Your HP goals will only be hindered by the depth of your pocketbook. Basic bolt on's such as CAI, exhaust really won't get you any additional HP. Headers, cam, TB, and injectors are where your HP gains will be found. Or just save yourself all the money and headaches and trade for an SRT.

I look into hemifever see wat they offer me.,,, Yea when I first bought the r/t it was the srt first but how my finance was I went with the r/t just decided I was going to just build it when it gets to a certain mileage but I’m willling to spend some money on building my 5.7 I love my Durango the drive is Amazing, handles like a sport car for such a big suv and its comfortable and spacious I want to trade it in for a srt but I rather just stay with my paid non finance car instead to deal with a bank up
Ur ass for payments ill Take the headaches of the 5.7 build

BTW not sure what NY emissions is like, but getting an unlocked PCM will throw a P1400 code that cannot be removed unless both the PCM and BCM are flashed. The code flags that an aftermarket tune has been detected which is more to alert dealerships that the powertrain has been modified. Not an issue with most emission states like IL but I don't think it is the case with states like CA which look at CVN (like a checksum for the PCM) apparently.
