It's been about a year since my last tune up.

2000 5.9 Durango

Are the autolites still the sparkplug of choice? what's the model number again?

Any suggestions on a good air filter assembly. Mine is pretty rigged, the original owner way back in the day rigged
up a k&n air filter to the original assembly, not a pretty site, but up until now it worked. Now the K&N is beyond cleaning
needs to be replaced.

I've been checking on eBay, saw a couple different metal assemblies using K&N air filters.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I've cleaned it my fair share of times in the past summer with the kit. The main problem is wear. The previous person who decided to rig this up used a very strange metal bracket that has since worn a very nice hole in the side of the filter.

It's time for a new one, plus not sure how the wife would feel about something like that going through the dishwasher :)

This has been discussed a couple times in the past. You'd never know it was ever in there. The washer cycles enough times to get rid of any residue.

Of course if it has a hole in it there's not much hope there.

Plugs are Autolite 3923
For the rest of the tune up parts I recommend the NAPA Gold stuff Its great quality
