trouble starting

greetings,

currently own/daily my 17' rt, 53kmiles. Recently when I go to start it, it will go into run without cranking over to start. at this point my break pedal goes stiff and if I wait a few seconds for everything to turn on then hit and hold the start button again it will start. going to have my battery checked right now, but doesn't seem like a battery issue to me because it starts up without issue after the above process. im really hoping it is just a battery issue though and not the RF module for the key fob as quite a few of my buddies with RAM's have had a nightmare of a time getting their RF module replaced. does anyone know what else it could be?

Maybe a bad starter/solenoid?
Maybe a bad starter/solenoid?
I figured that would throw a code, and im not receiving one. if it doesn't that might be the case. thanks for the recommendation.
Posted earlier about a start then die issue .. similar in that my brake pedal goes stiff as well.

yah that sounds more like the RF module not reading the key fob that my buddies have dealt with. once mine is started it continues to run, without issue. it doesn't give me the "no fob detected" on the dash when I initially go to start it.
Thank you Patrick .. appreciate your info.
Having a somewhat similar issue, but I can hear solenoid click.

It's intermittent, but I feel it does happen a little more when warned up. I think it's bad solenoid, I am halfway through trouble shooting, through all the steps found some great videos.

I checked voltage drops they are good, now need to check VD under load to rule out wiring or relay(video 2). I had a town and country that had 4 bad relays that passed with no load but failed once load was applied.
