I have the factory tow hooks and mounting bracket from my 98 Dakota. I’m not sure what year they went to rack and pinion steering, but if you have the older recirculating ball type and you’re close to NJ, let me know
These tow hooks should still work in this case but a longer bolt will be needed to thread into the existing weld nuts. Probably can handle dragging logs around and such but. These are light duty and are mostly for looks.
FD, can you take a pic of the cross member just behind the lower bumper cover? The tow hook mount bolts to the frame, you take the current bumper mounts off and put this bracket on, and then using two bolts mount the bottom to the lower cross member.
Here is the mounting bracket, it’s upside down hanging from the trusses in my garage. The left side of the pic is where the bumper mounts, and the right side mounts to the lower cross member with that bolt.
