Well she’s home for the winter. Drives so nice and strong as hell!!! IAT’s stayed under 115 between dyno pulls!! Top end is so violent I love it.
If I had that kinda money and time I'd do the same thing just because. It'd be the ultimate sleeper, still repping the R/T in the back...Idk what you spent all said and done, but a DDHC with headers, smaller pulley and E85 makes about the same if not more power than that. Not saying what you did wasn’t cool as hell, but the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze because you’re that deep and only getting deeper with a built trans etc.
guess it will come down to what you get out of the 8 rib kit.
best of luck.
Love the sleeper thought if it. No doubt!!!! $140K+ is inefficient to say the least. Could have scrapped the idea, sold the car and nearly bought two hellcat Durango’s with the dough. If I had that kinda money and time I'd do the same thing just because. Wheres the fun in that thought?Love the sleeper thought if it. No doubt!!!! $140K+ is inefficient to say the least. Could have scrapped the idea, sold the car and nearly bought two hellcat Durango’s with the dough.
Steve, don’t think I’m being critical, this is just my opinion. I’m here for the long haul pimp. I’m interested to see the outcome for sure!🤙
Yes sir! But it’s getting de badged getting vinyl wrap gloss 3-m black. Her name is The Black Pearl! LolIf I had that kinda money and time I'd do the same thing just because. It'd be the ultimate sleeper, still repping the R/T in the back...
Actually ordered the 3.0. They tell me no body else has gotten it yetI got a whipple 2.9 blower I used for 5k and got the opportunity to use the 3.0 whipple. It’s up for sale for 6k kit minus injectors.
Yes for the public, they are waiting on small parts to complete the kit but there overseas and have been on back order for a while. my tuner tunes for whipple, and got a few back in November. He had to fabricate just a tb adapter plate from the 105 off the 2.9. It made 754 whp at only 11 psi. Crazy intake temps never went above 115. Im getting stronger internals thrown in April and adams custom 10 rib kit. and since nhra just announced no cages till 9.00 and 150 for vehicles 2014 and newer! I’m gonna pulley down on race fuel and send it!!Actually ordered the 3.0. They tell me no body else has gotten it yet
Wait wait. There's a solution or 2014 R/T to link to ELSD? I was going to have to reverse engineer the signaling to the motor (Servo?) and send it whatever (PWM? Analog? IDK is it a full can bus connection?) with a custom ELSD controller based on an Arduino and a rotary knobNext time in March he will finally rewire the elsds. For the Trackhawk cradle to engage. I’ll get the diff brace and wiles driveshaft thrown on. Everything is on back order. And we will pulley down and on e-85.
suspension and trans is on point. If any of you who don’t have sport or track etc. except an eco mode button. I believe it’s tables 61-64 and 21-24 I think. Your tuner should know. Have him tune that into a trans tune. Perfect for pulling and racing. Eco mode button will now me the send it button! Lol
Ahh, I see now in the pic that you did a Fore fuel pump setup? Which package? There are a ton of selections there! Dual pump. Triple pump, etc... Also, E85 options and non-E85 options... and Fuel pump controllers?Heya chief, I read through this but didn't see what you did for fuel... We just did a 6.4L swap alongside 9.5:1 forged pistons and rods and my original Vortech V3 Si Trim (Ripp Supercharger). I think I've got the stock "long crank times" dying fuel pump(s) and thinking about the future as I know I can add more boost but don't have the fuel to handle much more than the 564WHP it was dynoed at, Up from 460WHP of the 5.7L Before anyone asks, both the o.g. 5.7L with 66k miles and the new 6.4 have the long crank time issues. But then again I'm also through P0452 evap system code as well
