Idk what you spent all said and done, but a DDHC with headers, smaller pulley and E85 makes about the same if not more power than that. Not saying what you did wasn’t cool as hell, but the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze because you’re that deep and only getting deeper with a built trans etc.

guess it will come down to what you get out of the 8 rib kit.

best of luck.

If I had that kinda money and time I'd do the same thing just because. It'd be the ultimate sleeper, still repping the R/T in the back...

i been building this before the hellcat Durango was even announced. Besides my rt weighs 700 lbs lighter. I was alittle pissed off when the hellcat came out. But with what I have, It can handle way more than a hellcat motor, bigger, rev higher. And have the fuel system for e 85 now. I compared this to my new redeye charger. this new supercharger is a beast!!
And I already ran by buddy’s hc Durango. My suspension and weight, bigger ci, bigger blower. It really showed.
hey guys I’m not really on here to brag or some stupid shit. I’m here to help others with parts etc. and I’m excited about having her back. Just only trying to help others.

Exactly Steve!
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! Its owners/members like you that only advance our platform and without we would not have near the aftermarket support or understand the limitations of the platform.
Hats Off to You for blazing the trail so that others can follow if they should desire...and there are more than a few of us who want to!!!

Love the sleeper thought if it. No doubt!!!! $140K+ is inefficient to say the least. Could have scrapped the idea, sold the car and nearly bought two hellcat Durango’s with the dough.

Steve, don’t think I’m being critical, this is just my opinion. I’m here for the long haul pimp. I’m interested to see the outcome for sure!🤙

Next time in March he will finally rewire the elsds. For the Trackhawk cradle to engage. I’ll get the diff brace and wiles driveshaft thrown on. Everything is on back order. And we will pulley down and on e-85.
suspension and trans is on point. If any of you who don’t have sport or track etc. except an eco mode button. I believe it’s tables 61-64 and 21-24 I think. Your tuner should know. Have him tune that into a trans tune. Perfect for pulling and racing. Eco mode button will now me the send it button! Lol

Man I ordered 2.9 Whipple kit for my DD TNG back in April( through Livernois Motorsports). They told me they ceased production on that Gen. and I'd have to wait till June for the Gen 5 3.0. Then it was August, then October....Then November. My dealer said Whipple cited "fitment issues". Obviously that was complete horseshit. Not sure why they're dragging me out. I'm jelly! I need my boost!!

Actually ordered the 3.0. They tell me no body else has gotten it yet
Yes for the public, they are waiting on small parts to complete the kit but there overseas and have been on back order for a while. my tuner tunes for whipple, and got a few back in November. He had to fabricate just a tb adapter plate from the 105 off the 2.9. It made 754 whp at only 11 psi. Crazy intake temps never went above 115. Im getting stronger internals thrown in April and adams custom 10 rib kit. and since nhra just announced no cages till 9.00 and 150 for vehicles 2014 and newer! I’m gonna pulley down on race fuel and send it!!
Hers some pictures of it out before install and installed. Damn thing pulls so damn harder than the 2.9 no whine at idle anymore and feels like a big ass hard pull. Can’t describe it. Like I have a steering wheel on a motor. But I bet it can gap my redeye charger. My motor has forged internals now 5.7 stroked to 397. Manley internals. But they have max hp rating on the rods at 900 whp. So I will be selling my long block, about 8 k on the motor. Lots of driving on freeways to hurricane and back. Comes with full ported heads by AFE. All Manley valve train, Manley crank rods and pistons. Head and main studs, and Texas speed stage 4 cam. New water pump, seals gaskets. If anyone is interested if you come get it 9k. If you need it shipped it will be that added. This will all be done at Spankin time Motorsports in Hurricane.

Heya chief, I read through this but didn't see what you did for fuel... We just did a 6.4L swap alongside 9.5:1 forged pistons and rods and my original Vortech V3 Si Trim (Ripp Supercharger). I think I've got the stock "long crank times" dying fuel pump(s) and thinking about the future as I know I can add more boost but don't have the fuel to handle much more than the 564WHP it was dynoed at, Up from 460WHP of the 5.7L Before anyone asks, both the o.g. 5.7L with 66k miles and the new 6.4 have the long crank time issues. But then again I'm also through P0452 evap system code as well :(

Wait wait. There's a solution or 2014 R/T to link to ELSD? I was going to have to reverse engineer the signaling to the motor (Servo?) and send it whatever (PWM? Analog? IDK is it a full can bus connection?) with a custom ELSD controller based on an Arduino and a rotary knob :)

Ahh, I see now in the pic that you did a Fore fuel pump setup? Which package? There are a ton of selections there! Dual pump. Triple pump, etc... Also, E85 options and non-E85 options... and Fuel pump controllers?
