My Durango crew sunroof controls are no longer functioning as they should. The auto close and open are not working. Just the close is moving the roof. If you hold the button, it will open all the way and close all in one motion. It also doesn't stop once closed. Has anyone ever heard of this problem?

I had that problem a few months ago on my 14' RT. the dealer had to order a new part that controls the sunroof, garage door buttons, sunglasses carrier. The part took two weeks to arrive and about half a day to install.

For those with this issue. The reset procedure completely resolved it and all is good now.

My sunroof also started to act strange. The vent button doesn't work and the controls are not predictable and seem to have a mind of their own. This is the second time this has happen and seems to be a common occurrence. Last time it was fixed under warranty but this time it is out of warranty.
Hi, I followed the sequence in the link wonky sunroof. It didn't work quite as mentioned in the link but after fiddling with it for a while I was able to get to a sequence that I could follow near the last of the instructions. Anyway its working now and the instructions helped me to get it fixed. By the way I don't have a close button but do have auto buttons with arrows on them. I assume the one labeled auto button with the forward arrow was the close button.
Mines does some wonky stuff twice now recently. First time it would only go to vent and even then I had to keep pushing the buttons repeatedly to get it to close. I sat in the car the first time and found the reset/calibration procedure and did that and it worked. Second time was after a car wash the sunroof wouldn't open at all. None of the buttons would respond. I turned the car off and let it sit for a bit and started it again and it finally worked again.
