Looks great! Since the MS-8 has 8 inputs, but the D has 10 speakers, how did you run your inputs? I'm assuming you're running the front door mid/tweets passive off one channel. But let me know if that's all wrong.

BlackPearl - are you using the factory volume control, or using the MS-8 volume? Also, did you get around to trying the front active? I'm getting real close to pulling the trigger on an MS-8. Need to by the wife something pretty for Valentines day first. :)

Blackpearl - how easy was it to get the tuning sounding good with the MS-8? I think I'm about to pull the trigger on one. I put in a different sub and sub-amp last week. That made a huge improvement, but now I want more. Any tips are appreciated.

Thanks! I'm going to pull the trigger on an MS-8 today. Going to do it in stages. 1st stage was putting in a sub, amp and sub-knob. Thought that would make me happy, but just made me miss the system in my old truck even more. Also highlighted the low crossover point sent to the sub. I like around 70-80hz better for good drum kick. So now comes phase 2, the MS-8. Going to hook it up to the stock speakers for now while I pick new speakers. Might try changing out the tweets and center, and leave the stock mids to see if that's good enough.

Did you tap the remote turn on prior to the stock amp, and run that into the MS-8, letting the MS-8 control turning on the stock and aftermarket amps? Read a note about that in the manual.

Great! One more question. Since the stock amp sends all phone call voice to the center channel, do you have any issues with phone calls since you didn't use the center as an input to the MS-8? Just wondering how the MS-8 gets the signal for the phone calls.

Hey BlackPearl - did you ever try running active with the front tweeters powered by the MS-8?
