I don't get some people's posts?
Why would anyone post a wanted thread for an oil filter which is pretty much a nothing special filter besides having SRT on it?
Are you looking for a deal on a filter for your $95k+ Durango?
Did you even look on mopar.com?
So I had a huge thread going on this over at Hellcat.org. The 041 filter is back-ordered at my dealership until 11/22. After countless emails back and forth with Dodgecares the 899 (Black filter) is approved for the Hellcat and 392 SRT engines.

Ya don't say. The 899 filter is what I run on my 5.7L, as it satisfies warranty requirements. Someone up the food chain, must have experienced a wave of common sense! Kind of like when some dealers approved the use of aftermarket water pumps when the oem 5.7L units were failing in mass quantities.
Getting the customer back on the road should have been Job 1! The oem WP's were on "national backorder" for weeks, if not months.
The 041 and 899 are both made by WIX, the NAPA Gold is also a WIX product so there are some choices out there. The 041 is still the best choice if you can find them. There is a really good UTube Video by Steve White Parts on the 041 filter and it is truly made to MOPAR specs.
