Guys and Gals:

I love it. I can't believe the difference from my prior R/Ts ... so different and so much better.

Front windows were tinted to match the rest. MOPAR lowering springs are being installed next week.

I like the way it sounds. I don't think I will toss the money at the MOPAR performance exhaust until I get valid reasons.

Anything that you would do to the vehicle that would not void the warranty?

I like it the way it is.

Thanks in advance.

Congratulations... you did it.
I would love to hear the differences from R/T as I am thinking to the upgrade.
Got any pictures to share?
Differences;
  • Has 115+ more horsepower than the 5.7L Hemi, so a rocket sled. Some report theirs are closer to 500HP stock. It's rated at 4.7 0-60, but some have gotten 4.4 and lower.
  • Has a decently loud exhaust that backfires/pops on heavy acceleration upshifts. I sometimes use the remote start just to enjoy the sound when you fire it up. Gets a lot of looks when you fire it up.
  • Built-in "dyno" and performance recording such as best 0-60, etc.
  • Launch control.
  • Incredible braking due to the Brembo brakes, which also look sharp.
  • Corners a lot better due to improved suspension, wider tires, and sitting lower.
  • I was surprised to find that the 6.4L SRT gets about the same mileage as my 2012 5.7L Hemi Citadel (if I don't get on it continually), probably due to a better transmission with more gears.
  • SRT hotline for when the dealer is jerking you around - will set the dealer straight.
  • Per a Dodge video, will do a "Sick 4-wheel burnout". Methinks that involved a chain and some bleach. The DDSRT has so much traction you have to try hard to break them loose. That's why it's about as fast to 60 as the 1,000lb lighter Charger/Challenger.
  • Looks and sounds mean. If you like to lay low and not draw attention, this is the wrong Durango for you.
Sorry, I keep adding to this.
