Spark Plugs: Why go 3923 instead of 5223

I switched to 3923's at 15K. Replaced them at 30K and 60 K. Missed the 45K change-out because I ran out of time getting ready for a cross-country trip. Plugs still looked good at 60K when I pulled them, and had no issues (ping, power, etc.) towing a 2000 lb trailer around the country, inclusing over the Rockies, Cascades, and Sierras.
At a little over $1 apiece, I'd say it's pretty much a no-brainer.
