All well and good regarding the article. However, depending on your source of info the threshold for hearing damage is from @ 105 db up for any extended periods of time. Much lower than their level for pain. They don't seem to address the spray on sound deadeners that are out there and work well either.
Anything we can do to make our rides less like the inside of a drum is a vast improvement and highly recommended. Great job on improving your rig.

Loud: is there a comparison between the spray on Lizard skin and Dynamat available? All of these references seem to avoid even mentioning the spay on approach. But they are informative and good reads.
