Damn those concealing covers. I wonder what the penalty is for the guys who fit these covers on the truck if they were to take a picture of the vehicle before they covered it and leaked it on the net.
They'd probably be heroes to nutjobs like us or get fired or BOTH! :cheesy:

R/T is just marketing. I'd prefer an SRT8 version for something really special. Perhaps a Alfa Romeo, Ferrari or Maserati Edition?

Me too, but the SRT may be out of my price range. I was actually looking at picking up a Charger SRT8 here in about another year.

Hey Gary,

LTNS! Welcome back!!

Thanks for the sketches. I look for new D info usually ever other week or so and hadn't seen those yet.

I like the sketches a bit more than the lines I "think" I can see under the spy covers. It's certainly more Gen1ish than later years I think.

Again. WB!

Regardless of nameplate, since it's the replacement for the Gen 1 and Gen 2 D's and crossbred with a Gen 1 Magnum, we'll accept it as the next official vehicle in our club. Although I'm not a big Gen2 D fan, I think the initial welcomes we posted weren't very nice. I'm a brand loyal person and, if I'm in the market for a new D, Magnum, or whatever it may be called, I hope the place I've called home since 2001 will accept me and my modern day D.

I don't know about that. If it's not labeled a Durango, doesn't share the Durango's technology and underpinnings, and isn't produced as a Durango like the Aspen was, then it's not a Durango. No Gen2 Magnum users are going to stumble upon the DOC looking for help. It'd share more in common with the Jeep Grand Cherokee Owners Club since it's a Jeep spinoff like the Aspen was a Gen2 D spin off.

Just saw these pic's on facebook of the 2012 D. It's got the lines from the front fender to the front door and from the rear door to the rear fender just like the Gen 1. I like it.

I think I like it, but things have to grow on me for a bit. Has a bit of the "squashed down" look of a Magnum in the design. I definitely like that they're trying hard to stay with the original D theme.
