Should I go SRT or RT AWD?

Hello, long time Mopar buyer. Every vehicle I’ve owned since 2012 has been a Mopar. I’ve had two scat pack challengers and love the 392 motor. I am deciding between a 2018 SRT loaded except for DVD with a sticker of nearly $72k. It has 300 miles and the small town dealership has had it for a year. No issues. They are desperate to get rid of it. Got them down to $57,000. I have the funds to purchase it and insurance is fairly cheap. I am also looking at a 2019 DRT AWD with black top and loaded as well for $47,000. Anyone; have thoughts that they don’t need the SRT and could save some cash? I fear I may regret not getting the SRT since I’ve been only considering that. The responsible adult in me has reared its ugly head though. Thx!!

No, was not serious. Just couldn't resist based on the prior discussion.

Everyone who sits in my 2nd row captain's seats likes them. Having said that I've had a few times I wished I had that 7th seat, given the choice would consider a bench. Coming from my Tahoe there were times I wished I had 8 seats, so no matter what you have, there are times another seat or two would be useful.

I had the dealer on the bottom tell me that he couldn't sell the SRT lower than 58990. Showed him this pic of the dealer on top selling for less and willing to go even lower to get rid of it. I didnt want black and wanted white. Dealer on bottom said well im going to hold at my 58990 price and good luck. I was like wow. even showed him the pic of earlier in this post of someone getting 10k off the MSRP and he just didnt wanna believe that someone would sell a 18 SRT for less. I know this dealer wants to deal but is still hoping for a higher offer even though its been on his lot for 250 days lol. Wish me luck.

I had the same choice's as you and got the 2019 R/T listed at 57 and got it for 52. (formerly had the srt challenger 2016) since we had a SRT in the family, I live with my son due to health issues. (Iam 60 and he is 35). I have been perfectly happy with the R/T and when I get that itch for the big boy, we just swap trucks for the day.
